Alright, so I watched this movie, “Enemies Within the Church.” Don’t rightly know who made it, some fella named Judd Saul, I think. Anyways, this here movie, it’s about two hours long, and let me tell ya, it’s a real eye-opener.
The movie, it shows ya some things, things that have been happening right under our noses in the church. They say it’s all this “neo-Marxism” and “identity politics.” Don’t rightly know what all them fancy words mean, but it sounds bad. Sounds like some folks are tryin’ to turn the church into somethin’ it ain’t supposed to be.
They got these people, these “influential forces,” the movie calls ’em. And they’re workin’ hard, real hard, to change things. They’re messin’ with the teachin’s, tryin’ to twist ’em around. It makes ya mad, it really does. Makes ya wanna stand up and shout, “That ain’t right!”
- It’s about false teachers. The movie shows ya how to spot ’em. Folks who talk a good game but don’t really believe what they’re sayin’.
- It’s about organizations. Groups that are tryin’ to take over the church from the inside.
- It’s about agendas. Secret plans to undermine the church and weaken its power.
Now, I ain’t one for fancy movies. I like a good story, somethin’ that makes ya think. And this movie, well, it sure does make ya think. It makes ya question things. Makes ya wonder who ya can trust.
The movie, it ain’t pretty. It shows ya some hard truths. Truths that might make ya angry, might even make ya cry. But it’s important stuff. Stuff we need to know. If you’re a God-fearin’ person, if you believe in the Bible, then you need to see this movie. Plain and simple.
This Judd Saul fella, he did a good job. The filmin’, the producin’, it’s all top-notch. But it ain’t the fancy stuff that matters. It’s the message. The message that there are enemies within the church, and we need to be aware of ’em. We need to stand up and fight for what’s right.
Some folks might say, “Oh, it’s just a movie, don’t get all worked up.” But I say, it’s more than just a movie. It’s a warnin’. A wake-up call. We can’t just sit around and let these folks destroy the church. We gotta do somethin’.
They talk about how throughout history, the church always had two big enemies: persecution and false teachin’. Makes sense, I guess. Some folks wanna hurt ya, some wanna trick ya. Either way, it ain’t good. And this movie, it shows ya both kinds of enemies, workin’ together sometimes, even.
Now, the Bible don’t say nothin’ about movie ratings, so I can’t tell ya if this movie is “good” or “bad” by them standards. But if you’re tryin’ to live a good, clean life, like the Bible tells us to, then you gotta be careful what you watch, what you listen to, what you let into your head. And this movie, well, it’s somethin’ that’ll make you think about that.
They say this pastor from Sioux City made the movie. Sioux City, huh? Never been there. But I reckon it don’t matter where it came from. What matters is the message. And the message is clear: we gotta protect the church. We gotta fight for our faith. We gotta be vigilant. ‘Cause the enemies are within, and they ain’t goin’ away without a fight.
So go see this movie, “Enemies Within the Church.” It’ll open your eyes. It’ll make you mad. It’ll make you think. And maybe, just maybe, it’ll make you do somethin’ about it. That’s all I got to say about that.
