Well, let me tell you, I heard folks talkin’ ’bout these new horror movies in Redbox. You know, that red box thingy where you can get movies? Lord, back in my day, we just had that one old TV with the rabbit ears, and we was happy with it! But these young’uns today, they got all sorts of fancy ways to watch their picture shows.
So, they say there’s some right scary ones in that Redbox now. Movies that make you jump outta your skin, they say! One called “The Exorcist,” I hear it called. Sounds like somethin’ about gettin’ rid of demons, I guess, must be that religious movie. Some people say it’s real scarin’. Like, it will make you afraid of everythin’ for a long time. That’s what I heard, anyways. I ain’t watchin’ it, no sir! I don’t need no demons in my head.
And there is another movie called “The Deliverance” on Netflix, that is similar to “The Exorcist”, but about some family. I guess it is scary too. I do not have Netflix, too expensive for me. But young people always talk about this.
They got all kinds of these horror movies now, more than you can shake a stick at. They even got different ways to watch ’em, not just that Redbox. Something called “stream free on demand”. It got ads, but hey, it’s free! And you don’t need to do that “sign in” thing. They got comedies, and those document things, and other stuff too. All free. Also, they have somethin’ called “Free Live TV”, got movies, sports, news and music. I guess it is good for young people to watch.
