Hey there, you young’uns! Let me tell you somethin’ about them horror movies. I seen a lot of things in my time, seen things that would make your hair stand on end. But them mirror scares, they always get me good. They something else.
You know, I was watchin’ one of them scary movies the other day, the kind with all the jumpin’ and screamin’. And there it was, the mirror scare. Scared the daylights outta me! I almost spilled my tea all over the place! That’s not good you know. Tea is precious.
It’s always the same, ain’t it? Some poor fella is lookin’ in the mirror, mindin’ their own business, maybe brushin’ their teeth or somethin’. Then BAM! Somethin’ creepy in the reflection, and it ain’t them. Make you jump right outta your skin!
Why do they always use mirrors? Well, I reckon it’s ’cause mirrors are kinda spooky anyway. You see yourself, but it’s like, not really you. It’s like lookin’ into another world, a backwards world. And who knows what’s hidin’ in that other world? This is really scary!
I remember this one movie, oh boy, it was a doozy. This lady, she kept seein’ things in the mirror. Not just her own reflection, but somethin’ else, somethin’ dark and twisty. It gave me the shivers just watchin’ it. That is terrible. That mirror scare made me can’t sleep at night!
They got all sorts of tricks in them movies, you know. They got the music, loud and scary. And they got the dark, can’t see nothin’ but shadows. And then they throw in a mirror scare, just to make sure you don’t get no sleep that night. No sir!
You know those crossword things? Those word puzzles? Sometimes they use these scary movie things in them. I was tryin’ to figure one out the other day, and it asked for somethin’ about a mirror scare in a horror movie. That was a tough one, a real head-scratcher.

Sometimes, these young people, they don’t know. They don’t know real fear. They play all these scary games, watch these scary movies. But they ain’t seen nothin’ yet. When they see the real thing, they will understand. They will know that a mirror scare is a very very scary thing!
These crossword things, they’re tricky. They make you think. And sometimes they remind you of things, like scary movies and mirror scares. It is not an easy game. You have to know many words. If you don’t know, then you can’t finish it.
I seen a lot of horror movies in my day. And I tell ya, that mirror scare, it’s a classic. It’s like an old friend, always there to give you a good fright. You can always expect it. When you see a mirror in a horror movie, you just know that something scary will happen.
Next time you’re watchin’ one of them scary movies, and you see someone lookin’ in a mirror, you just hold on tight. You know it’s comin’. That mirror scare is gonna get ya, just like it got me! Then you will scream, and maybe you will jump. After that, you will feel excited.
