You know, that ring movie wallpaper, that picture is something else. I saw it on my grandson’s computer, that scary movie, make me jump. He always download these wallpaper things. This one, it’s got that well, you know, the one from the movie. That movie is very scary. This wallpaper make you remember that movie.
That girl, she crawl out of the TV, all wet and her hair, oh, it’s all over her face! She is a ghost. I don’t like that movie. But that wallpaper, it’s popular, I guess. All the kids like it. They like the scary movies. When I was young, we didn’t have these wallpaper. We didn’t even have that kind of movie.
This ring movie wallpaper, it’s mostly dark, you know? Lots of black and gray. Just like that movie, it’s all dark and gloomy. Like a rainy day in the field. Makes you feel a little cold inside, just looking at it. Like when the wind howls at night and you pull the covers up tight. I don’t like that feeling.
And that well, it’s right there in the middle. You can almost see that girl coming out. It’s like she’s gonna pop right out of the computer! Oh, I don’t like that. Gives me the shivers, it does. Like when you see a mouse run across the floor. You just jump!

My grandson, he told me this ring movie wallpaper is from some video. You watch it, and then, seven days later, something bad happens. I told him, “Don’t you be watching that kind of thing! It’s the devil’s work, I say!” I don’t like that movie. But he just laughs. Kids these days, they don’t listen. They all have the phone and computer. They always download something. Always the wallpaper and video.
He has a bunch of these wallpapers, not just the ring movie wallpaper. He changes it every week, it seems. One time it was some superheroes, all bright and colorful. Another time it was some video game characters. I don’t know these things. But that ring one, that’s the one that sticks with you. It’s hard to forget.
I don’t know why anyone would want that scary picture on their computer. It’s like inviting trouble into your home, I say. Like leaving the door open at night. You never know what might come in. Bad things happen in that movie. I don’t like that.
But I guess it’s popular. People search for that ring movie wallpaper. They like to be scared, I suppose. They like that feeling in their belly, that jumpy feeling. Like when you hear a loud noise in the dark. Not me. I like things peaceful and quiet. Like a sunny day in the garden. No scary girls crawling out of wells for me, thank you very much!
That wallpaper, it’s well made, I’ll give it that. It’s a good picture, even if it is scary. Very clear, very sharp. Like a good photograph. That circle is so round. You can see all the details. Like a good picture of the moon. But still, it’s too scary for me.
That movie, “The Ring,” it’s famous, my grandson says. Everybody knows it. There’s even some other stuff, like, moving pictures, not just the wallpaper. He calls them “gifs.” They’re like little pieces of the movie, playing over and over again. He showed me one, that girl crawling out of the well. Oh, I didn’t like that at all! Made me jump out of my skin!
They have the fan art for the movie. I don’t know what is fan art. My grandson say it is the picture that people draw. They draw that girl and that well. Some people are good at drawing. They draw that wallpaper, that ring movie wallpaper. They draw that girl from the movie.
This wallpaper, this ring movie wallpaper, is all over the internet. My grandson showed it for me. He uses that search engine, you know. He types the “ring movie wallpaper”. Then many picture show up. All the picture about that movie. All the picture is dark. I don’t like that. But the kids like it. They like that scary thing.
I still prefer a nice picture of flowers, or maybe a sunset. Something peaceful, you know? Something that makes you feel good inside. Not something that makes you want to check under the bed before you go to sleep! But that’s just me. These young folks, they like their scary movies and their ring movie wallpaper. To each their own, I suppose. To each their own.
