Yo, listen up, folks! This old gal’s gonna tell you about these horror movie Blu-ray collections. I ain’t no fancy movie critic, but I sure do love a good scare. And these Blu-ray things? They make them old scary movies look real good, like them ghosts gonna jump right out of the TV!
These days, seems like everyone’s got them flat TVs, and they wanna watch movies at home. I remember back in my day, we had to walk five miles uphill both ways to the picture show! But, I gotta say, these Blu-ray things is pretty neat. You get a whole bunch of horror movies all in one box. It’s like a scary movie buffet!
Now, you might be askin’, “Why should I get these Blu-ray things? Ain’t regular DVDs good enough?” Well, let me tell ya, these Blu-rays is like, way better. The picture is so clear, you can see every little detail. It’s like you’re right there in the movie, runnin’ from the monster or whatever!
And get this, sometimes they put a whole bunch of extra stuff on these Blu-ray collections. Like, they show you how they made the movie. You know, behind the scenes type of thing. I saw one where they showed how they made the monster’s makeup. It was somethin’ else, I tell ya! And they got some things that you can put in there, and they talk about the movie. Some smart people tell you what they think. I do not understand that sometimes.
I seen a few sales for these horror Blu-ray collections. Seems like every store’s got ’em. One time, I saw a big sale at one of them online stores, that place, you know, the one with the smilin’ box. They had a whole mess of ’em, cheap! Could get a whole collection for the price of a couple of chickens back home! They have sales all the time, gotta keep your eyes peeled for them sales. Something called “Shocktober”, what a name!
Another time, I was at that big store, you know the one, that big red circle. They had a whole shelf full of these Blu-ray movies, and a bunch of ’em was horror. They even had some of them old-timey ones, like with that Dracula fella. Those are my favorites. I heard, they have the movies you want. You can even order it and get it to your house the same day. That is what they say.
eBay, that’s another one. Lots of movie collections there, I tell ya. Some got that many movies, you’ll be watchin’ ’em ’til next year! They got deals there, I seen it. You can get a whole lot of scary movies for not much money. If you like scary movies, that is the place to be! If you like to collect those scary movies, there you go.
Let me tell ya about some of these movies I seen in these collections:
- There was this one, about a bunch of kids who get lost in the woods. And there’s somethin’ out there, watchin’ ’em. I don’t know what. I think some man with a big foot or something. That was a scary one!
- Then there was this other one, about a haunted house. Things movin’ by themselves, doors slammin’, voices whisperin’. Gave me the chills, I tell ya! You can see everything clear on that disc thing. The house, the ghosts, the people gettin’ scared!
- Oh, and this one, about a creepy doll. That doll, it came alive and started causin’ all sorts of trouble. I wouldn’t want that thing in my house, no sir! They say, that one, the doll, is one of the best ever!
- And there is some new movie, “Longlegs”, that is the name. People say that is the scariest movie this year. I do not know, I did not see that one. But I might, if I find it on a disc, maybe.
Some of them horror movies are not that expensive to make. I hear that a lot. That is good, more scary movies for me! I like when they make scary movies. Them young people, they can make their own movies, too. I saw one, made by a young fella, he made the whole thing in his backyard. That is what they say.
Now, I ain’t sayin’ you gotta go out and buy all these horror movie Blu-ray collections. But if you like a good scare, and you want to see them old movies lookin’ their best, then you might want to check ’em out. They’re a hoot, I tell ya! They sure are somethin’. I like ’em. Keeps this old gal entertained, that’s for sure. And they make great gifts, too. If you got a friend who likes scary movies, get ’em a collection. They’ll love ya for it!
