Oh, honey, you wanna know about movies like that “Indecent Proposal” one? That one where the rich fella offers a heap of money to a couple, just for one night with the wife? Lord have mercy, what’s this world coming to? Well, I seen a few in my time, lemme tell ya.
Now, I ain’t no fancy movie critic, I just watch what I like. But I reckon if you liked “Indecent Proposal,” you might like some of these other picture shows too. These are similar movies I can remember.
First one that comes to mind is somethin’ called “Green Card.” It ain’t exactly the same, not about no million dollars or nothin’. It’s about this fella who needs a green card to stay in America. And a woman who needs a husband so people in town don’t talk. So they get hitched, just on paper, you see. But things get messy, just like that “Indecent Proposal.” They end up having to stay together longer and you can guess what happens. If you want to watch some Indecent Proposal similar movies, this one is good.
Then there’s this other one, I can’t recall the name right now. It’s about a woman, she’s got herself in a pickle, needs money real bad. And this rich guy, he offers her a bunch, but she’s gotta do somethin’ for him. Sound familiar? It ain’t as fancy as “Indecent Proposal,” kinda rough around the edges, but it’s got that same kinda feel to it. I watched it a few years ago, and I do remember I liked it. The movie is similar to Indecent Proposal.
- There’s also that one where they’re all trapped in a house, and they gotta play these crazy games. Ain’t got nothin’ to do with no indecent proposal, but it’s got that same kinda tension, you know? Keeps you on the edge of your seat.
- And what about that one with the fella who’s got two wives? One’s rich, one’s poor. He’s always switchin’ between ’em. That’s a mess, I tell ya. A lot of drama, just like that “Indecent Proposal.” This movie is also good if you want to watch some Indecent Proposal similar movies.
- I remember one, it was about this couple, they were young and in love, but they couldn’t be together. Family didn’t approve or somethin’. They made a pact, to meet up years later, if they were still single. It’s a real tearjerker, that one.
There is another one I watched long time ago. The name is “Love Story”. The man is from a rich family, but the woman is not. They are in love, and the man’s family is against their marriage. But they get married anyway. They struggled a lot. It is a real sad story, and I cried a lot. I guess young people would like it. This is a good similar movie.
These days, they got all kinds of movies on those streaming things. Netflix, Hulu, all them. I don’t have none of that, I just got my old TV. But my grandkids, they’re always tellin’ me about this one and that one. They say there’s a whole bunch that are kinda like “Indecent Proposal.” You know, about love and money and makin’ hard choices. If you like similar movies, go watch them.
My grandbaby, she told me about one, I think it was called “The Proposal”. No, it is not Indecent Proposal. It is just “Proposal”. It’s about this lady boss, she’s mean as a snake. And she makes her assistant marry her, so she don’t get deported. It’s funny. But not so similar to Indecent Proposal.
There is another one called “Pretty Woman”. I think it was made long time ago. I watched it at my neighbor’s place. It is about a rich guy and a pretty girl who is not rich. The rich guy hired the pretty woman to be his date for a week or something. And guess what, they fall in love. This one is not very similar to Indecent Proposal, but is also about rich guys and pretty ladies.
I heard them talk about some shows are similar to Indecent Proposal. They are called “Fatal Attraction” and “Unfaithful”. I have never watched them. I don’t know what they are about. But my grandbaby told me that they are all about cheating. I don’t know if this is true, because I have never watched them. You can watch them if you want.
Honestly, in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy movies. We had our stories, passed down from generation to generation. Stories about love and loss, hardship and joy. Those were the real movies, the ones that stuck with you. But I guess these newfangled picture shows, they got their own kind of magic too.
There is another movie called “Honeymoon in Vegas”. It is about a couple who went to Vegas and wants to get married. But this rich guy likes the woman. And the woman looks like rich guy’s dead wife. The rich guy makes the man lose a lot of money in poker, so he can spend one weekend with the woman. This movie is very similar to Indecent Proposal. You can watch it.
You know what I always say. It don’t matter how much money you got, or what kinda choices you make. What matters is if you’re happy. And if you got someone to share your life with, someone you love. That’s worth more than all the money in the world. That’s the lesson in all these movies, I reckon, even that “Indecent Proposal” one.
