Alright, let’s talk about them Bollywood movies in Portland. You know, them Indian movies with all that singing and dancing. I heard some folks talking ’bout it, and I got curious, so I did some digging. Turns out, there’s places right here in Portland where you can watch ’em.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these things, but I heard there’s a place called Bollywood Theater. Sounds like the right place to go, huh? They probably show a bunch of them Bollywood movies there. I reckon it’s a good spot to check out if you’re into that kinda thing. Then there is another one called Laurelhurst Theater, wonder what kind of Indian movies they play there.
And then there is this Cinemark. Some say it’s near you, which is good right? Means you don’t have to go all the way across town to watch them movies. They got all sorts, not just them Bollywood ones. They got them Telugu movies, them Hindi movies, all them Indian movies, I guess. I don’t know the difference, but they got ’em.
If you want the real deal, though, I heard there is this website called something like “Indian dot com.” It’s got all the information about where to find them Indian movies in Portland. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada – Lord knows what all those words mean, but they got movies in all them languages, apparently. So if you’re looking for something specific, that’s probably the place to go. They probably got a list of all them theaters and what they’re showing. It is a good website to check all the information, they say.
This fella, DJ Prashant, he’s got something going on at the Clinton Street Theater. Every third Tuesday, they say. He’s got four of them Bollywood movies, the real famous ones. Sounds like a whole event, you know? I ain’t never been, but it sounds like fun. Singing, dancing, the whole shebang. It is a historic theater, good for a date night.
Now, there’s more theaters, too. There’s one called McMenamins Bagdad Theater & Pub. I don’t know much about it, but it’s got “theater” in the name, so they probably show movies. And “pub” – that means they got drinks, I reckon. So you can watch your Bollywood movie and have a drink, too. Sounds nice, don’t it? Maybe they even have some good food like India Sweets & Spices, wonder if they are close to each other.
Then there’s Century 16 Cedar Hills, and Wunderland, and this Joy Cinema and Pub. Lots of places with “cinema” and “theater” in the name. That’s how you know they show movies. It is a good idea to watch a movie then play some games after, could be fun. You can probably find them all over Portland. Just gotta look around, I guess.
If you want to know what’s playing where, there are some websites that can tell you. You can even sort them by what people liked and when they came out. I don’t know how to do all that fancy stuff, but I’m sure someone can figure it out. This website “ZEE5,” they say you can watch them Bollywood movies online. That’s something, ain’t it? Right there on your computer or your phone, I suppose. Times are changing, I tell ya. You can even book upcoming movies, as they say.

Oregon, that’s where we are, right? They got them Indian movies here, too. Same as Portland, I reckon. Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil – the whole lot. So, if you are in Oregon and want to watch a movie, you are good to go.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about them Bollywood movies in Portland. It ain’t much, but it’s something. If you’re interested, you can go check ’em out. I might even go myself one of these days. See what all the fuss is about. Who knows, maybe I’ll even learn to like them. It will be a good experience for sure. Although I don’t know any of these words, I reckon it’s better to go with someone who knows them.

So, it’s always good to call ahead or check their website or something, just to make sure you don’t go all the way there for nothing. Better safe than sorry, as they say.
