That Cinpolis place, they call it “luxury.” Fancy, huh? Heard they got them big comfy chairs. Recline all the way back, like you’re in your own living room! But sometimes, all these choices make my head spin. I went in there once, got lost trying to find the right theater. And so many snacks, makes it hard to pick.

Then you got your AMCs. There is one in Rockaway, the AMC Rockaway 16. Sixteen screens! Can you believe it? Back in my day, we were lucky to have one. Now they got sixteen. That’s a lot of movies to choose from. It’s a big place, that Rockaway one. You can get lost in there if you ain’t careful.

Who needs that many choices? But then again, people like options. I guess that’s good, got something for everyone. That’s what they say. This one, people tell me it is good too.
Other Movie Theaters Around
They got that other one too, Chatham Hickory Cinema. Don’t know much about that one. Heard it was alright. Then there’s that Sparta Theatre, New Vision Theatres. Folks seem to like it. I think it is further, not exactly movie theater in Succasunna, New Jersey. But people go there sometimes.
You know, I heard the best seat is somewhere in the middle, kinda towards the back. That’s what they say on the TV. Gives ya the best view, and the sound is good too. Me? I just like to sit where I can see the screen good. Don’t wanna be too close, hurts my neck. And I like to be near the aisle, just in case I gotta get up, you know. My old bones ain’t what they used to be.
One time, I went to the movies, and the fella in front of me, he was tall as a tree! Couldn’t see a thing. Had to keep movin’ my head around. Wasn’t very fun. So yeah, where you sit matters. These days, they even charge more for them good seats. Can you believe that? Paying extra just to sit in a certain spot. Times sure have changed.
