So, I decided to do something fun last weekend. I was thinking, “Hey, let’s find some horror movies that start with the letter ‘A’!” I know, it sounds a bit random, but I love a good challenge, and I am a big fan of horror movies.
First, I grabbed my laptop and opened up my browser. I started with some popular streaming platforms. I typed in “horror movies starting with A” in the search bar, but the results were a bit of a mess. It was showing me all sorts of movies, not just horror ones. So, I needed to refine my search a little bit.
Next, I tried a few different movie websites, the ones where you can filter by genre and all that. That was more like it! I was finally getting some decent lists. I scrolled through the titles, jotting down the ones that sounded interesting. Some of the titles I recognized, but most of them were new to me.
- Alien – Okay, this is a classic! I remembered watching it years ago, and it scared the heck out of me. Definitely going on my list.
- A Nightmare on Elm Street – I know this isn’t an “A” title, but I saw it listed under “related titles” on one of the sites, and it’s one of my favorites, so I wrote it down anyway. I remembered watching the main character in the movie “Scream” as well.
- The Amityville Horror – This one’s supposed to be based on a true story, which always makes it extra creepy. I added it to the list.
After spending a good chunk of time searching and compiling, I ended up with a pretty solid list of “A” horror movies. I was feeling quite proud of my little project. I even made some popcorn, and prepared to watch the movies I found!
