Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again, and today I want to share something really cool I’ve been working on. So, I’m a huge fan of horror movies, like, I live and breathe this stuff. I’ve always wanted to show off my love for these films in a unique way, and that’s when it hit me – why not make a custom t-shirt with all my favorite horror movie characters on it?

Getting Started

First off, I started by brainstorming which characters absolutely had to be on this shirt. I mean, you can’t have a horror movie shirt without the classics, right? So, I made a list: Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Leatherface, and a few others. I also wanted to include some newer icons, so I added Pennywise from “It” and a couple more to the mix. It was a good balance of old and new.

Designing the Shirt

Next, I thought about the design. I didn’t just want to slap some pictures on a shirt. I wanted it to look awesome. I decided to go with a collage style, where all the characters are kind of mashed together in this chaotic, but cool, way. I found some awesome fan art online and got inspired by the different styles – some were realistic, others were more cartoonish. I started sketching out how I wanted them to be arranged on the shirt. It was a bit like a puzzle, trying to fit everyone in without making it look too crowded.

Finding a Way to Make It

Once I had a rough design, I had to figure out how to actually get this onto a shirt. I looked into a few options: printing it myself, finding an online service, or going to a local print shop. After some research and comparing prices, I decided to go with a local shop that had good reviews. They were super helpful and gave me some great tips on how to make the design look even better on fabric. I sent my design to the shop, and they gave it a once-over, making some minor tweaks for the best quality print.

The Final Product

A few days later, I picked up the finished product, and guys, it looked even better than I imagined! The colors were vibrant, the characters looked sharp, and the overall design was just killer. I wore it to a horror movie marathon with some friends, and everyone loved it. They all wanted to know where I got it, and I was proud to say I designed it myself.

My Advice

If you’re thinking about making your own custom shirt, here’s what I learned:

  • Brainstorm your idea thoroughly.
  • Think about the design and layout.
  • Research your printing options.
  • Don’t be afraid to ask for help or advice from professionals.

This project was a blast, and I’m already thinking about what my next custom shirt will be. Maybe a sci-fi one? Or maybe I’ll stick with horror and do a “final girls” theme. The possibilities are endless! Anyway, that’s all for today’s post. Hope you enjoyed it, and let me know if you’ve ever made a custom shirt. I’d love to hear about it! Catch you in the next one!
