Okay, so I saw this movie, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” the other day. Pretty cool flick, I gotta say. But there’s this thing that’s been bugging me and a bunch of other folks online. It’s about Splinter, the rat, you know? The Turtles’ dad.

So, the internet’s been going crazy, right? People are saying Splinter might be gay in this movie. I mean, I watched it, and there’s this scene with him and Scumbug, and it’s kinda… well, it makes you think. But then I did some digging around because, you know, I like to get to the bottom of things.

First, I went to YouTube. You can find anything on there. And yeah, there were a ton of videos about this. People are analyzing every little thing, every word, every scene. It’s wild. Some folks are really convinced Splinter’s gay, others are like, “Nah, it’s just a misunderstanding.”

Then I hit up some forums, Reddit, and all those places where people debate about this kind of stuff. And guess what? It’s the same story. A lot of back and forth. There’s even this one guy who said his life totally changed when he thought Splinter was gay. I mean, it’s cool if it helped him see things differently, but it’s a cartoon rat, you know?

I even found this article where the movie’s director, Jeff Rowe, he’s talking about it. But it’s not super clear. He’s kinda dodging the question, from what I read. And there’s something about a poster that got people confused. Apparently, it was a mistake, a marketing goof-up or something. That added fuel to the fire, I guess.

So, after all this, here’s what I think: Splinter is probably not gay. Yeah, he’s got this moment with Scumbug, but it doesn’t really mean anything for sure. It could just be a close friendship, or maybe it’s just there to make us talk, like we’re doing now.

  • Watched the movie: Got me curious about this whole Splinter thing.
  • Checked out YouTube: Saw a bunch of people talking about it, making videos.
  • Read forums and articles: Found a lot of different opinions and some info from the director.
  • Formed my opinion: Think Splinter’s not gay, just a rat being a rat.

In the end, it’s a cool movie. If you haven’t seen it, check it out. And about Splinter, who knows? Maybe we’ll find out more in another movie, or maybe it’s just something to keep us guessing.
