I’ve been meaning to catch a flick lately, and a buddy of mine told me about this place, Parsippany, in New Jersey. Said it had some pretty decent theaters. So, I thought, “Why not?” and decided to do a little digging.
First thing, I wanted to see what movies were actually playing in Parsippany. I started by just typing it into my search bar, you know, “movies in Parsippany, New Jersey.” Lots of stuff popped up. I saw names like “Wicked,” “Gladiator II,” and even the new “Despicable Me.” Okay, looks like there’s a good variety.
Then, I wanted to figure out what theaters were around. The search results were talking about places near Parsippany and Lake Parsippany. Made sense, gotta cover the whole area. Also, I found that I could sort the movies by ratings and release dates on some of these sites. Pretty useful if you’re picky like me.
The next thing to do was to narrow it down to a specific location. I noticed the zip code 07054 kept coming up, so I searched for theaters near that. Again, a bunch of results, including showtimes. One of the websites mentioned a place called Cinemark Parsippany, which seems to be one of the biggest theaters in that area. They had an address, 3165 Route 46. I figured, that’s probably the main one.

I found out that the AMC East Hanover 12 has some pretty cool stuff, like 3D and a dinner menu. Plus, they’ve got recliner seating in all their theaters! That’s a big plus in my book. They also have assisted listening devices and wheelchair access.
My Game Plan
Alright, so after all that searching, I think I’ve got a plan. I’m gonna check out the AMC East Hanover 12. Recliner seats, dinner, maybe even a 3D movie. And if that doesn’t work out for some reason, I can always try that Cinemark Parsippany.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure in finding a movie to watch in Parsippany, New Jersey. Not too complicated, but you never know what you’ll find when you start poking around online. I will definitely go there next weekend!
