The cracks widen even further as Season 2 of Silo nears its end. When former engineer Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) surprisingly survives the outside premises of Silo 18 seemingly unharmed, she has no idea that her stint has sparked serious chaos and commotion back in her home silo. With rebellions on the rise, tyrannical leader Bernard Holland (Tim Robbins) thought he had his pawns under control, but as his legions began to question his leadership, Holland wasn’t afraid to stoop even lower, resorting to more tactical and backstabbing approaches.

Following an underwater mission in Silo 17, Juliette has been trying to recover from a serious bout of decompression sickness. Although she harbors animosity towards Solo (Steve Zahn), she’s about to discover the stranger’s origin story, which may possibly change the way Juliette sees Solo. With new dangers lurking around every corner, the two will have to rely on each other to face these threats. Without further ado, here’s what audiences can expect in Episode 9 of Silo Season 2.

Last time on Silo, secrets and betrayals in and out of Silo 18 begin to surface. In the Down Deep, Shirley (Remmie Milner) honors fallen rebels, including Cooper, while reflecting on the flaws in Silo’s justice system. This fuels Sheriff Billings’ (Chinaza Uche) internal strife, especially after sharing a pivotal moment with his wife, Kathleen, and a picture of Juliette’s past.

Meanwhile, Lukas Kyle (Avi Nash), leveraging his new position, digs into the late Judge Meadows’ belongings to decipher a secret message left by Salvador Quinn. His search leads him to the Pennbrook family, but despite initial failures, he uncovers a message revealing the game’s rigged nature. However, just as Lukas makes progress, Robert Sims (Common) steals the Pact and warns him not to trust Holland.

Over in Mechanical, Martha (Harriet Walter) faces a heart-wrenching choice when Holland forces her to become a spy in exchange for Carla’s (Clare Perkins) life. Matha reluctantly agrees, but her loyalty to the rebel group is shattered as she is forced to betray them. This puts her at odds with her comrades, especially Shirley, who is unaware of the betrayal.

Juliette, recovering from decompression sickness, encounters new enemies in Silo 17. After a tense chase and a near-fatal arrow wound, she discovers a group of strangers, including a mysterious boy, and is thrust into a new fight for survival.
