Alright, so I was trying to find some shows that are kind of like “The Resident.” I’ve been watching it, and man, it’s gotten me hooked. It used to be on FOX, and from what I saw online, it looks like it was pretty popular at first. They said it had like 7 million viewers, but then it went down to 4.5 million, and they ended up canceling it. Bummer, right? I guess it is not coming back with The Resident Season 7.
So, I started digging around to see what else is out there that might give me the same vibe. I mean, I like all that drama, you know? The ethical stuff they deal with, the fast pace of the hospital, and all those complicated characters. It’s all so interesting. But, let me tell you, finding a show that’s similar isn’t as easy as you’d think.
I checked out a bunch of different series, hoping to find something that would scratch that itch. I even found this one show called “Casualty.” It’s a BBC One thing, and apparently, it’s been running forever, like, since 1986. It’s the longest-running medical drama, or something like that. Pretty wild. I gave it a shot, but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for.
I spent hours scrolling through Netflix, reading descriptions, and watching trailers. I tried a few other shows, but nothing really clicked. Some were too slow, some were too cheesy, and some just didn’t have that same intensity that “The Resident” has.
Anyway, I finally stumbled upon something that might be worth checking out. It’s got a similar feel, you know? Lots of hospital drama, ethical dilemmas, and that kind of stuff. It’s not exactly the same, but it might be close enough. It has complex characters just like in “The Resident.”
But then I saw the news about “The Resident” getting some new attention on Netflix. So now I’m thinking, maybe, just maybe, they’ll bring it back. I mean, if enough people watch it, they might change their minds, right?
So yeah, that’s where I’m at. Still kind of bummed that “The Resident” isn’t getting a season 7, but hey, at least I have something to look forward to. And who knows, maybe this new show I found will end up being just as good. Fingers crossed.
