Okay, so I’ve been wanting to put together a decent list of horror movie trivia questions, you know, for like parties or just to mess with my friends who think they know everything about scary movies. I finally got around to doing it, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a process.

First, I started just brainstorming all the horror flicks I could think of. We’re talking the classics like “Psycho” and “The Exorcist,” and then some newer stuff like “Get Out.” I wanted a good mix, not just the super popular ones everyone knows.

Then came the actual questions. This was the fun part, but also kind of tricky. I tried to do a mix of easy, medium, and hard questions. Some multiple choice, some just straight-up answers.

  • For “Psycho,” I went with something like, “What happens in that famous shower scene?” Stuff like that, you know?
  • Then, for a movie like “The Purge,” I might ask, “What’s the basic idea behind the Purge night?”

After I had a bunch of questions, I started typing them up. I made a document and just started dumping them all in there. No real organization at first, just getting them down.

Next, I went through and tried to organize them a bit. Grouped some by movie, others by theme. It started to look like a real trivia sheet!

The hardest part was probably checking the answers. I mean, I thought I knew these movies pretty well, but you’d be surprised how easy it is to misremember a detail or two.

My testing method

So I watched some clips, read some summaries, you know, the whole shebang. Finally, after all that, I had a pretty solid list.

I even made it into a PDF so it looked all official and stuff. You can totally print it out and use it for parties or whatever. It is a good activity to create a spooky atmosphere, right?

Now, I’ve got this awesome horror movie trivia list ready to go. Next Halloween party is gonna be epic! My friends are never going to know what hit them with these brain ticklers. I can’t wait to see the looks on their faces when I drop some of these harder questions on them.

The feeling is so good to make something from zero to perfect. I will continue to collect those brain ticklers. To be honest, this is the first time I have made such a trivia question sheet. I am planning to make sheets on other topics. Stay tuned, guys!
