So, I was chillin’ the other day, right? And I got this itch to watch “American Homeboy,” ’cause I heard some buzz about it. I was all, “Where can I catch this flick?”
First off, I hit up Netflix. I mean, they got everything, don’t they? Typed it in the search bar, fingers crossed. Nada. Zilch. Not a single result. “Bummer,” I thought, but hey, no biggie. Netflix doesn’t have EVERYTHING.
Then, I did what any of us would do – I googled it. “American Homeboy where to watch,” plain and simple. Boom! A bunch of results popped up. Apparently, this thing’s been out since 2023, and it’s a documentary, not some action flick. It’s about the whole pachuco and cholo culture thing, which I gotta admit, I don’t know much about. Sounds interesting, though.
Turns out, it’s not on Netflix, but it’s all over the place online. I saw it listed on Amazon, Google Play Movies, Vudu, and even the Microsoft Store. You can rent it, buy it, whatever. And get this, it’s only 1 hour and 23 minutes long. Easy watch.
There’s also something called the Daily Chela TV app. Never heard of it before, but apparently, subscribers can watch “American Homeboy” there, too. Lots of options, which is cool.
