Okay, so I wanted to share my experience with trying to get on Netflix. I’m not talking about being a subscriber, but actually getting cast in a show or movie. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you.
First off, I started by doing some digging online. I was looking for any information about casting calls, auditions, anything related to Netflix productions. I quickly found out that Netflix doesn’t really handle the casting process directly. They’re more like the big bosses, the executive producers. So, it’s not like you can just walk into Netflix headquarters and ask for an audition.
Instead, I learned that there are these things called casting calls, which are basically announcements looking for actors. These can be for all sorts of roles, big or small. I started looking for these casting calls everywhere online. There are websites dedicated to listing them, and I made sure to check them regularly.
I also realized that it’s not just about finding the casting calls, it’s also about making sure they’re legit. You don’t want to waste your time with something that’s not real or, worse, a scam. So, I always did my homework. I’d look up the casting directors, the production companies, anything to make sure it was a genuine opportunity.
Then came the audition part. I have to say it’s nerve-wracking and it’s so exciting all at the same time. I prepared for it like there was no tomorrow, you know? I mean, this is Netflix we are talking about! If you get it, it’s like a dream come true.
