Okay, so, I was thinking about hosting a little get-together with my buddies, you know, just a chill night with some snacks and maybe a movie. But then I thought, why not make it a bit more fun? I got this idea to do a 90s horror movie trivia night. Sounds cool, right?
So, I started by, like, scouring the internet for some trivia questions. I mean, I know my 90s horror, but I wanted a good mix of easy and hard questions, you know, to keep everyone on their toes. I spent a good few hours, just browsing through different websites, jotting down questions that I thought were interesting. Stuff about, like, the Scream movies, The Silence of the Lambs, and even some lesser-known ones like Candyman.
My First Round Of Questions
- What’s the name of the killer in “Scream”?
- Which movie features a creepy little girl named Samara?
- In “The Silence of the Lambs,” what’s Hannibal Lecter’s favorite food?
After I had a solid list of questions, I decided to test them out. I called up a couple of friends, and we did a little trial run. It was actually pretty fun! We had some laughs, a few arguments about the answers, and it really got us in the mood for some 90s horror.
Then, I started thinking about the setup for the actual trivia night. I figured I’d need some kind of scoreboard, maybe some pens and paper for people to write down their answers. And of course, snacks! I made a list of all the classic 90s snacks I could think of – popcorn, pizza rolls, and maybe some Gushers for that nostalgic feel. The idea here was to make them feel immersed, you know?
My Second Round of Questions
- Which actor played the iconic Freddy Krueger in “A Nightmare on Elm Street”?
- What is the name of the fictional town where “The Blair Witch Project” takes place?
- In “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” what did the killer use as a weapon?
I also wanted to make sure the atmosphere was just right. I thought about maybe dimming the lights, putting up some spooky decorations, and definitely playing some classic 90s horror movie soundtracks in the background. Creating the right ambiance was key, I figured.
Finally, I sent out the invites. I kept it pretty casual, just a text message to my close friends. I told them about the trivia night, the 90s theme, and the snacks. Everyone seemed pretty excited about it, which was awesome!
My Last Round Of Questions
- What is the name of the cursed videotape in “The Ring”?
- In “The Sixth Sense,” what phrase does Cole Sear often repeat?
- What is the name of the hotel in “The Shining” where the Torrance family stays?
So, yeah, that’s how I planned my 90s horror movie trivia night. It was a bit of work, but it was also a lot of fun. I’m really looking forward to it. I think it’s gonna be a blast!
