So, I was thinking about catching a flick this weekend and got really hyped about this movie called “Captain Miller”. I’d heard some buzz about it, and it sounded right up my alley. It’s set back in the 1930s during the British Raj, which is a period I find pretty interesting. The main guy, this former soldier named Analeesan Eesa, goes by the name “Captain Miller”. He’s on a mission to protect the people from the British after seeing some messed up stuff go down. I love this story because I’m into history.
First thing I did was hop on my phone and start googling “Captain Miller movie near me”.
My go-to for finding movies is usually Fandango, and I saw something about earning double rewards if I bought a ticket through them today, so that was a nice little bonus. I clicked on the Fandango link to see what was up.
After browsing Fandango, I wanted to see what other options were out there. I noticed something about Vue Cinemas having showtimes, so I decided to check them out too. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to compare prices and locations.
While I was at it, I did a quick search for reviews and more info about the movie itself. I found this website that had a bunch of details, user reviews, and even some behind-the-scenes stuff. That was cool to see.
Then,I wanted to know the platform where I could stream it.I found a few options like Google Play Movies, Apple iTunes, and even Amazon Prime Video.
Here’s what I found out after digging around:
- Fandango: They had showtimes for a bunch of theaters near me, and that double rewards thing was tempting.
- Vue Cinemas: They also had listings, but the showtimes didn’t work as well for me.
- Streaming: It looks like I can rent or buy the movie on a few different platforms, or even stream it with a subscription.
After weighing all the options, I decided to go with Fandango and snagged a ticket for a showing tomorrow afternoon. I’m pretty stoked to see this movie now! I will go to the theater to watch it. The story sounds awesome, and all the reviews I read were pretty positive. I’ll definitely share my thoughts on it after I see it!
