Okay, so, I got this idea to make a horror movie chart. It sounded pretty cool, right? So I started thinking about all the horror movies I’ve seen.

My First Steps

First, I grabbed a big piece of paper and a pen. I started writing down names of horror movies. I remembered “Scream” from 1996, you know, the one with Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette. That was a classic!

Diving Deeper

Then, I thought about “Alien” from 1979. That movie by Ridley Scott, it’s like a haunted house in space! Super creepy. I wrote that down too. I wanted to put them in order by when they came out, so I had “Alien” first and then “Scream”.

I realized I could watch a bunch more on Netflix. They’ve got tons of stuff, not just movies but also those documentaries and TV shows. I could watch as much as I wanted! I thought about how Netflix is super handy for finding movies.

Getting Organized

  • Started with “Alien” (1979)
  • Then added “Scream” (1996)
  • Realized Netflix is a goldmine for horror movies

Expanding the List

I started looking up more movies. I found a list of like, the 13 best horror movies that are streaming right now. They also had these “see also” titles, which was pretty neat. It’s like, if you liked this movie from the 90s, you might like these other ones too.

I kept adding more movies to my chart, trying to remember all the good ones. It was a fun trip down memory lane, and also a bit scary, to be honest. It’s wild how many of these movies there are! I mean, the horror genre is huge.

The Final Chart

So, after a few hours and a lot of scribbling, I had this big chart. It wasn’t perfect, and I’m sure I missed some good ones, but it was a start. I felt pretty accomplished. It was cool to see all these movies laid out like that, kind of like a timeline of terror!

I put my chart up on the wall. It’s a good conversation starter, and it reminds me of all those spooky times. Maybe I’ll update it later, add some more movies, make it even bigger. Who knows!

Anyways, that was my little project. It was a blast, and I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re into horror movies like me.
