So, the other day, I was trying to solve this crossword, right? And I’m stuck on this one clue: “Movie trailer?” It’s from the LA Times crossword, which I try to do every now and then when I’ve got some downtime. I mean, who doesn’t love a good brain teaser?
First, I googled “movie trailer la times crossword” to see what would come up. I figured someone else must have been stuck on this one before. The search results showed a bunch of sites that had crossword answers, and I scrolled through a few of them. One of them listed all the answers for the January 15, 2025 puzzle. Another one mentioned the clue was last seen on February 22, 2024.
- I clicked on a result that said “Movie trailer? crossword clue” and it took me to a page with a bunch of other clues and answers.
- I scanned the page, looking for my clue.
- Finally, I found it! The answer was “GOER”.
Feeling pretty good about myself, I also checked out some other dates. There was one for October 27, 2024, and another for December 29, 2024. Just out of curiosity, you know? It’s always interesting to see what kind of clues they come up with.
One of the sites mentioned a puzzle from January 19, 2025, by a guy named Ricky J. Sirois. Apparently, the themed clues in that one went from “First” to “Ninth” as you went down the grid. Sounds kind of neat, doesn’t it? I can never figure out the crossword creators’ logic most of the time, but I enjoy trying.
Anyway, another site noted that the puzzle I was looking at had 76 clues in total. 76! That’s a lot. And then it said something like, “You go! I don’t think we want any!” I guess that’s some kind of crossword humor. They then said, “Get cracking”, which I suppose means get to work, haha.
Wrap up
So yeah, that’s how I figured out the answer to “Movie trailer?” It’s “GOER”. Not sure how I feel about that answer, but hey, a win’s a win, right? Now I can finally finish that crossword and move on with my day. Maybe I’ll try another one tomorrow. Or maybe I’ll just watch a movie. With a trailer, of course!
