Alright, so I decided to make a “horror movie spin the wheel” thing. It was a totally random idea, but it sounded fun, so I went with it.
First, I brainstormed a bunch of horror movies, trying to get a good mix of classics and some newer stuff. I wrote down, like, 20 or 30 titles. Then, I started thinking about how to actually make the wheel. I’m not a coder or anything, so I needed something simple.
I googled around a bit and found a few websites where you can make custom spin the wheels. Most of them were kinda cheesy, but I finally found one that looked alright and wasn’t too complicated. It let me type in the movie titles and change the colors and stuff.
Getting It Done
- Typed in all the movie titles.
- Played around with the colors to make it look kinda spooky. Red and black, you know, the usual.
- Tested it out a few times to make sure it worked.
The wheel itself wasn’t super fancy, but it did the job. The real fun part was actually spinning it. Each time, there was this little bit of suspense, like, “What am I gonna have to watch?” I ended up watching some movies I’d never even heard of before, and a couple were surprisingly good!
It’s a pretty simple project, but it’s a fun way to decide what to watch, especially if you’re feeling indecisive. Plus, it adds a little bit of randomness to movie night. I might even make some other themed wheels in the future. Maybe an action movie one, or a comedy one. We’ll see!
