Okay, so the other day I was scrolling through Netflix, looking for something to watch. You know how it is, endless choices and nothing really grabs you. Then I saw it – “The Passion of the Christ”. I remember all the buzz about this movie when it came out, directed by Mel Gibson, super intense and controversial.
I thought, “Hmm, I’ve never actually seen it, and it’s been, what, like 20 years?” So, I decided to finally give it a watch. First,I went to look for it on the search bar.
Find “the Passion of the Christ”
I opened Netflix app on my * I clicked the little search *,I typed in “la pasion de cristo”. I found this movie and clicked it.I pressed play and I sat down.
The movie is, for sure, not an easy watch. It’s pretty graphic and really depicts the suffering of Jesus in detail. I mean, Mel Gibson really went all in on the realism. I have to say, even though it’s tough to watch at times, I was completely drawn * movie is in Aramaic, Hebrew, and Latin, with subtitles, of course.I have to admit I spent much time to read.
After the movie finished, I just sat there for a while, thinking.I googled a few things about the movie and the controversy surrounding it.
It’s definitely a powerful film, and I can see why it sparked so much *’s on Netflix, so if you’re curious and haven’t seen it, you can check it out. Just be prepared, it’s not light viewing!
