Okay, so I stumbled upon this thing called “Ultra Films,” and the title alone – “Ultra Films Inexplicably Wonderful” – got me. I mean, what does that even mean? Naturally, I had to dive in and see what the fuss was about.
The Discovery
It all started with me just messing around online, you know, the usual late-night scrolling. I found this after looking for some new film emulation, and read a little bit, thought it looked cool, and saved it. The next day, it was time for action.
The Setup
First, I had download some stuff.
- I had to find a download, which for me was no issue at all.
- Installed some package, all pretty smooth.
The Experiment – AKA Messing Around
This is where it got interesting. I opened up a few of the new profiles, I tested an old photo, some new photos, and just went to town with it.
- First Impressions: The first try,I was really suprised! The colors were amazing, the grain looked good, it was almost perfect, so I was ready to really do more.
- Tweak, Tweak, Tweak:Of course, I couldn’t leave well enough alone. I moved some slider’s around, changed some settings, and messed with everything!
- Results are good!:Most everything I did, made a huge difference, it really did help add that “It Factor” to my photos!
The “Inexplicably Wonderful” Part
So, after playing with it, I kinda get the name. It’s not just about making photos look old-school.. The best part, honestly, was just the feeling I got while using * was all a very smooth process!
My final verdict? Very good.I think It’s great, and can really add a lot to your work, I know it has for me.
