Okay, so I wanted to put together a list of the top horror movies from 2011. It’s always fun to look back and see what was scaring us back then, right?
First, I jumped onto Google and just started searching for “best horror movies 2011”. I figured that would give me a good starting point. I got a bunch of results, mostly lists from different websites.
Browsing and Gathering
I opened up a few of those lists in new tabs. I didn’t want to rely on just one source, you know? Everyone has different tastes. I started looking for movies that showed up on multiple lists. Those were probably the ones that were actually popular and well-received.
- I made a simple text file to keep track of everything. Just the movie title and maybe a quick note about why it was on the list.
- I spent a good hour just going through these lists, comparing them, and adding movies to my own text file.
- It got a little overwhelming. There’re tons of horror movies!
Checking My Memory
Then, I tried to remember which movies I actually saw in 2011. Some of them I couldn’t even watched because I was too scared. Others, I watched with friends and we all freaked out together. Good times!
I made sure that my list included a good mix of those, the critically acclaimed, and a few of my personal favorites(even if they were just B-movie kinds of).
The Final Cut
Finally, I narrowed down my list to the ones I thought were really the best. I can share them with all of you later, but I want to check my final list is really correct.
That was pretty much it! Just a lot of searching, reading, and remembering. It was a fun little project, though. It’s always cool to revisit these older movies and see how they hold up.
