Longtime Hollywood publicist Ina Treciokas has launched Ingenuity Group as a talent and brand consultancy shop.
The former partner at Slate PR has chosen a solo venture after one of the industry’s highest-profile publicity firms that represents a long list of A-list stars, creators, talent and events chose to close its doors. Four of Slate PR’s founders — Stephen Huvane, Simon Halls, Robin Baum and Andy Gelb — went on to form a new firm called Apex Public Relations.
Ingenuity Group will join founder Michael Nyman’s Acceleration Community of Companies as part of its specialized marketing service offerings. Treciokas will be based in the Los Angeles office of DKC, the communications firms led by CEO Sean Cassidy, and will work closely with DKC and other ACC agencies.
“Traditional publicity is not enough – today’s talent needs brand stewardship. Ingenuity Group helps clients shape their narratives, expand creative platforms, and uncover opportunities that are as multi-dimensional as they are. Joining ACC gives us the ability to deliver bespoke strategies backed by analytics, cultural intelligence, and creative collaboration,” Treciokas said in a statement.
Treciokas brings a client roster that includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Harrison Ford, Woody Harrelson, Justin Theroux, Liev Schreiber, Allison Janney, Camila Mendes, Owen Wilson, Mike Myers, Ben Kingsley, John Leguizamo, Jon Favreau, George Lopez, Charlie Cox and David Schwimmer.

Ingenuity Group will look to blend traditional publicity with brand innovation and cross-platform strategies.
