Now, they call these “For Your Consideration” ads. Basically, Netflix is payin’ money to show off these shows and movies, hopin’ they win awards. They scan these ads from all over, put ’em online for folks to see. Guess they gotta get the word out somehow.
And wouldn’t you know it, they even put that big awards show on Netflix this year. The SAG Awards, they called it. Actors givin’ each other trophies. They streamed it live, so everyone could watch. Guess they’re gettin’ fancy, puttin’ it all online.
Seems like a lot of fuss just to win a statue, if you ask me. But hey, that’s how they do things in Hollywood, I guess. All them fancy folks and their big productions. Me, I’m happy with my little shows on the TV, no need for all that extra stuff.
