Well, let me tell ya about them picture shows in Jackson Hole, or whatever ya call it. I ain’t too good with fancy names, ya know. But I heard tell there’s places where ya can go watch them movies.
Now, I reckon if you’re lookin’ to see a picture show, you gotta find one of them theaters. They call ’em “cinemas” sometimes, which sounds mighty uppity to me. But they got movies playin’ there, all sorts of ’em. Heard tell there’s one called Movieworks Cinema. Sounds like a busy place, always makin’ movies, I guess.
Findin’ the Picture Show
First thing ya gotta do is figure out where these theaters are at. They say they’re near somethin’ called “83001”. Sounds like a bunch of numbers to me, but folks say it helps ya find the place. And they say it’s in Jackson. That’s a town, ya know, a real place with buildin’s and such.
Once you’re in Jackson, ya gotta look for the theater. They say Movieworks Cinema is on South Highway 89. That’s a road, a big one, where cars go zoomin’ by. The address is 860 South Highway 89, if that helps ya. Me, I just look for a big buildin’ with pictures of movie stars on it.
What Kinda Movies They Got?
Now, I ain’t seen too many movies myself. But they got all kinds, so I hear. Some are funny, makin’ ya laugh ’til your belly aches. Some are sad, makin’ ya cry like a baby. And some are scary, makin’ ya jump right outta your seat. They even got ones with cowboys and shootin’, which I reckon are pretty good.
They got new movies and old movies. The new ones are the ones everyone’s talkin’ about. The old ones, well, they’ve been around for a while, but they’re still good sometimes. Ya can find out what’s playin’ by lookin’ at a schedule. They call it “showtimes.” It tells ya what movie is playin’ and when.

Fancy Folk and Their Movies
Heard tell that some fancy folk, celebrities they call ’em, like to come to Jackson Hole. They got big money and like to live in them fancy hotels. They say some of ’em even own houses there. I reckon they go to the picture shows too, just like regular folks.
These hotels, they got names like Four Seasons and Hotel Terra. Sound mighty grand, don’t they? They got all sorts of fancy things, like spas where ya can get pampered and such. But me, I’m happy enough with a good movie and a bucket of popcorn.
Gettin’ Your Tickets
Now, to see a movie, ya gotta get a ticket. Ya gotta pay for it, ya know. Can’t just walk in and sit down. They got places where ya buy the tickets, like a little booth or somethin’. And they cost different amounts, dependin’ on the movie and the time of day, I guess. It’s all a bit complicated if ya ask me.
Once ya got your ticket, ya can go inside and find a seat. They got big rooms with lots of chairs, all facin’ a big white wall where they show the movie. And they got speakers, makin’ the sound real loud. It’s quite a sight, even for an old woman like me.

This Movieworks Cinema, they say it’s got a phone number too. (307) 733-4939. I reckon ya can call ’em up and ask what movies are playin’. Or ya can look online, they say. But I ain’t too good with them computer things. Too much bother for me.
So, if you’re in Jackson Hole and want to see a picture show, go find yourself a theater. Movieworks Cinema sounds like a good place to start. Just remember to get your ticket and find a comfy seat. And don’t forget the popcorn!
More Than Just Movies
Now, some folks say Jackson Hole is more than just movies and fancy hotels. It’s a pretty place, with mountains and rivers and such. But I ain’t seen much of it myself. I’m usually too busy tryin’ to figure out what’s for supper.
