Well now, let me tell ya somethin’ about them Argentinian movies on that Netflix thingy. I ain’t no fancy movie critic or nothin’, but I do like watchin’ a good story, ya know? And let me tell ya, some of them Argentinian flicks, they got stories alright.
First off, what is this Netflix, anyhow? My grandkids, they keep talkin’ about it. Said it’s got more movies than the picture show downtown ever did. And wouldn’t ya know it, they got movies from all over the world now. Used to be just them Hollywood pictures, but now you got these Argentinian ones, and let me tell ya, they’re somethin’ else.
I watched this one movie, can’t rightly remember the name of it now, but it was about this family, just like any other family, ya know? They had their troubles, their laughs, their cryin’ times. But it was different, ya know? The way they talked, the way they lived, it wasn’t like nothin’ I ever seen before. It was real, ya know? Not like them fancy Hollywood pictures where everything’s all fixed up and perfect.
Some of them Argentinian movies, they’re funny too. I watched one the other night, near choked on my tea laughin’ so hard. This fella, he was a real character, always gettin’ into trouble. Reminded me of my old Uncle Jed, bless his soul. Always up to somethin’, he was.
- They got dramas, them Argentinian movies. Real tearjerkers, some of ‘em. Make you think about life and all its ups and downs.
- Then you got your thrillers. Keeps you on the edge of your seat, ya know? Makes you wonder what’s gonna happen next.
- And the romances, oh my! Some of them are just beautiful. Reminds you of when you was young and in love, even if it was a hundred years ago.
Now, I ain’t sayin’ all them Argentinian movies are good, mind you. Some of ’em, well, they just ain’t my cup of tea. But there’s enough good ones there to make it worth your while to take a look. And the best part is, you can watch ’em right there in your own home. No need to go to no fancy picture show and pay a fortune.
My grandkids, they showed me how to find ’em on that Netflix. Said you can sort ’em by all sorts of things. Popularity, ratings, whatever that means. I just scroll through ’em till I see somethin’ that catches my eye. A pretty face, a funny lookin’ fella, whatever. You never know what you’re gonna find.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ different to watch, somethin’ that ain’t the same old Hollywood stuff, give them Argentinian movies a try. You might just find somethin’ you like. And if you don’t, well, there’s plenty of other stuff on that Netflix thingy to watch. Lord knows, them grandkids of mine watch it enough for the whole dang county.
And let me tell ya somethin’ else, these Argentinian movies, they ain’t just for young folks. I’m an old lady, and I enjoy ’em just fine. They got somethin’ for everyone, ya know? Just gotta find what you like.
So go on, fire up that Netflix and see what them Argentinians got to offer. You might be surprised. I know I was. And who knows, maybe you’ll find a new favorite movie. It ain’t gonna hurt nothin’ to try, that’s for sure.
