Alright, listen up, y’all. You like them creepy movies ‘bout kids? You know, the ones that make your skin crawl and your hair stand on end? That movie, Orphan? Yeah, that one with the little girl who ain’t so little? It give ya the shivers, didn’t it? Well, if you’re lookin’ for more movies like that, I got a few for ya.
First off, there’s this movie called The Exorcist. Now, that one’s an oldie but a goodie, lemme tell ya. It’s about this little girl, see, and somethin’ evil gets inside her. Her momma, she’s freaked out, so she gets these two church fellas to help. Scariest darn movie I ever did see. Back in the day, everyone said it was the scariest thing ever. And lemme tell ya, it still holds up. It’ll make you wanna sleep with the lights on, that’s for sure. It’s real spooky. You might need to hold onto your hat for that one.
- The Exorcist: A real old one, but scary as heck. Little girl gets possessed, priests get involved. You get the picture.
Then there’s this other one, The Omen. This one’s about a little boy, Damien, who gets adopted by this couple. But this ain’t no ordinary kid, no sir. He’s the son of the devil himself, or somethin’ like that. Creepy little fella, he is. Always lookin’ at ya funny, makin’ ya feel uneasy. That kinda movie sticks with ya, ya know? Makes ya wonder ‘bout them kids you see on the street. They ain’t all sunshine and rainbows, I tell ya.
The Omen, it gives ya goosebumps just thinkin’ ‘bout it. That Damien kid, he’s somethin’ else. Makes you think twice ‘bout adoptin’ any kid, that’s for sure. Not that all kids are bad, mind you. But some of ‘em, they just ain’t right. And this movie, it shows you just how wrong they can be.
- The Omen: Creepy kid, turns out he’s the devil’s son. Makes you look at kids a little differently.
And then, there’s another movie called The Stepfather. Now this one ain’t exactly like Orphan, but it’s got that same creepy vibe. It’s about this fella who marries into families, see, and then he kills ’em all. He wants that perfect family, but when they ain’t perfect enough for him, well, let’s just say things get ugly. It ain’t got a creepy kid, but it’s got a creepy grown-up, and that can be just as bad, if not worse. This fella, he seems all nice and normal at first, but then he shows his true colors. It’s the quiet ones ya gotta watch out for, that’s what I always say. It makes you think about who you really trust.
- The Stepfather: Not a kid movie, but still creepy. This guy, he ain’t right in the head.
I heard they’re makin’ another Orphan movie, a prequel or somethin’. Don’t know how that’s gonna work, seein’ as how the first one ended. But I guess they’ll figure it out. Hollywood always does. I’m kinda excited though, to see more of that Esther girl’s story. She was somethin’ else, wasn’t she? Smart as a whip and twice as mean. Makes you wonder what made her that way. Maybe this new movie will tell us. Or maybe it’ll just give us more nightmares. Either way, I’ll probably watch it. I can’t resist a good scary movie, even if it does keep me up at night.
So there ya have it. A few movies to keep ya up at night. If you liked Orphan, you’ll probably like these too. Just remember to lock your doors and check under your bed before you go to sleep. You never know what might be lurkin’ in the dark. And for goodness sake, don’t go adoptin’ no strange kids after watchin’ these movies. You never know what you’re getting yourself into!
