Well, if you liked that Little Shop of Horrors movie, the one with the plant that sings and eats people, you might like some other things too. It’s a funny kinda movie, a little scary, a little silly, you know? Not everyone likes the same stuff, but I know a few things that might tickle your fancy if you liked that one.

Musicals, that singin’ and dancin’ stuff: Now, Little Shop, it’s a musical, right? Lots of singin’. So, if you like that, there’s plenty more where that came from. Someone told me about a movie called Phantom of the Opera. It’s old, but they made a newer one too, in 2004 I think. It’s got a guy with a mask, and he sings real good, but it’s kinda sad. Then there’s them stage shows they made into movies, like Rent and Hair. Those are about young folks and their troubles, lots of singing and dancing. And The Last Five Years, that one’s about a couple, going forwards and backwards in time, all singing. A bit confusing, but the music’s nice. Oh, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch! That one’s about a singer with a… well, a story. It’s loud and colorful, that one.

If you like them younger folks singin’, there’s Matilda too. It’s about a little girl who’s real smart and has magic powers. It’s a good one for the whole family, mostly. Some parts are a little scary, like that mean principal, Miss Trunchbull. She’s somethin’ else, I tell ya.

  • Rocky Horror Picture Show: Now, if you liked the weirdness of Little Shop, this one’s even weirder. It’s got a transvestite scientist, aliens, and lots of singing and dancing. It’s a cult classic, they call it. Means lots of people love it, even though it’s strange.
  • The Little Shop of Horrors itself: Did you know they had another Little Shop of Horrors movie way back in 1960? Made it with hardly any money, they say. And there’s talk of another one coming out, called The Little Shop of Halloween Horrors. Same story, I guess, but maybe spookier.

Speaking of Little Shop, that plant, Audrey II, it caused a lot of trouble. They had to change the ending, you know? People didn’t like it when the main characters died. So, they made a happy ending where they live. But you can see the sad ending too, on some of them DVDs. It’s a bit of a shocker, let me tell you. And they say some parts of the movie might scare little kids, so you gotta watch out for that.

So, there you have it. A few movies, kinda like Little Shop of Horrors. Some are funny, some are scary, some are just plain weird. But they all got somethin’ in common, that singing and dancing, that bit of strangeness that makes you think. Now, go on and watch ’em, see if you like ’em. And if you don’t, well, that’s alright too. Not everyone likes the same things, that’s what makes the world go ‘round, right?

Just remember, movies are like food, gotta try different things to find what you like. Don’t be afraid to try somethin’ new, even if it sounds a little crazy. You might just find your next favorite movie!

And if you see a plant that talks, don’t feed it blood! Take my word for it.
