Alright, so you wanna know about this movie theater in Claremont, New Hampshire, huh? Lemme tell ya what I know, though I ain’t no fancy city folk who knows all the highfalutin words. I just go to the movies sometimes, ya know?
First off, they call it the Claremont Cinema Center, or sometimes just Claremont Cinema 6. Sounds fancy, but it’s just a place to watch movies, nothin’ more. It’s on Washington Street, number 345. Easy to find, I reckon, if you ain’t got your head in the clouds.
Now, what movies they got? That’s the real question, ain’t it? Well, they show all sorts of stuff. Sometimes it’s them big action movies with all the explosions and whatnot. Other times it’s those sappy love stories that make the young girls cry. And sometimes, they got them cartoons for the kids. You know, the ones with the talking animals and all that jazz. I saw one the other day, about a dog that could talk. Can you believe that? A talking dog! Kids these days, they’ll believe anything.
- They got new movies, the ones everyone’s talkin’ about.
- They also show older movies sometimes, the ones we used to watch when we were young.
- And they got different times, so you can go whenever you want. Mornin’, afternoon, evenin’, it don’t matter.
Finding out what’s playing ain’t too hard neither. You can go down there and look at the poster, you know, the big picture thingy they put outside. Or, if you’re one of them fancy folks with the internet, you can look it up online. They got this thing called Fandango, and it tells you all the movie times. But I ain’t got no computer, so I just go down there and see for myself. It’s good exercise, anyway.
Now, some folks say it’s the best cinema in Claremont. I don’t know about that. There’s other places too, like Springfield Cinemas 3 and Entertainment Cinemas. But I always go to Claremont Cinema 6 ’cause it’s close to my house. And they got good popcorn, that’s for sure. I love popcorn, especially with lots of butter. It ain’t good for ya, I know, but what’s life without a little butter, right?
I heard they showed that “Sound of Freedom” movie there. And that “Wicked” one too. I ain’t seen ’em myself, but the young folks seem to like ’em. They’re always talkin’ about ’em. I prefer the old westerns myself. John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, them fellas. They don’t make movies like that anymore. It’s all special effects and superheroes now. I don’t get it, but the kids seem to like it.
And the prices? Well, it ain’t cheap, that’s for sure. Movies cost a pretty penny these days. But what else you gonna do for fun around here? Go fishin’? Nah, I’d rather sit in a dark room and watch a movie. It’s more comfortable, and you don’t get eaten by mosquitoes. And like I said, they got good popcorn.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a place to watch a movie in Claremont, New Hampshire, go to Claremont Cinema Center. It’s a good place, I reckon. Not too fancy, not too expensive, and they got good popcorn. What more could you ask for? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go find my glasses. Can’t see nothin’ without ’em these days.
Oh, and one more thing. Don’t forget to bring a sweater. It gets cold in them movie theaters, you know. They crank up that air conditioning, and it feels like the North Pole in there. And if you’re gonna get popcorn, get the big bucket. It’s worth the extra money, trust me. You don’t wanna run out of popcorn in the middle of the movie, that’s for sure. Alright, that’s all I got. Go enjoy your movie, and don’t forget to tell ’em old Bessie sent ya.
