Hey there, y’all! Let’s yak about this Zootopia movie, ya know, the one with all them critters walkin’ and talkin’ like us folks. I heard some young’uns chatterin’ ’bout it, so I figured, why not? Let’s see what all the fuss is about.

So, first things first, where can ya watch this Zootopia thing? Well, from what I gather, it ain’t as simple as turnin’ on the TV and there it is. Seems like these young folks got all sorts of ways to watch stuff nowadays. They got this thing called “Netflix,” like a picture show box, I reckon. And some say it’s on there, in the “United States” part, whatever that means. Sounds fancy.

But then, hold your horses, some other folks say it ain’t on Netflix no more. They say it’s on somethin’ called “Disney Plus.” Sounds like another one of them picture show boxes, but this one’s all about them Disney cartoons. Mickey Mouse and such. I remember watchin’ Mickey Mouse when I was a young’un, black and white, on a tiny little screen. Now they got all sorts of colors and big screens, it’s a whole new world, I tell ya.

Now, if you don’t got this Disney Plus thingamajig, seems like you can still watch Zootopia, but you gotta pay extra. They got these places like “Prime Video” and “Apple TV,” where you can “rent” or “buy” the movie. Rentin’, I understand. Like borrowin’ a book from the library, but for picture shows. But buyin’? Seems like a waste of money to me. You watch it once, maybe twice, and then what? It just sits there gatherin’ dust, like them fancy china plates your aunt Mildred gave you and you never use.

What’s this Zootopia all about, anyway? Well, from what I hear, it’s a city full of animals. All sorts of animals, big and small, livin’ together like folks in a town. And there’s this little bunny cop, a girl named Judy Hopps, and she’s tryin’ to prove herself, ya know? Kinda like when I first moved to the city and everyone thought I was just a country bumpkin. Showed ’em, I did. Got myself a good job and a nice little house, all on my own.

  • So, Judy, she’s a cop in this animal city.
  • And she’s gotta solve some kinda mystery, I think.
  • And there’s a fox, too. A sly one, probably. Foxes always are.

It’s one of them “comedy-adventure” movies, they say. Means it’s funny and exciting, I guess. Like that time old Mr. Henderson’s cow got loose and we had to chase it all over town. That was funny and exciting, and a little bit scary too, ’cause that cow was big!

Now, why is everyone so keen on watchin’ this Zootopia movie? I reckon it’s ’cause it’s got a good message, ya know? About gettin’ along, even if you’re different. About not judgin’ folks before you know ’em. About workin’ together to make things better. That’s important stuff, I tell ya. We could use a little more of that in the world today.

So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to watch, and you got one of them picture show boxes, maybe give Zootopia a try. It might just surprise ya. And if it don’t, well, you ain’t lost nothin’ but a couple of hours. Time you probably woulda spent watchin’ the grass grow anyway.

And if you can’t find it on Netflix, don’t fret. Try that Disney Plus thing, or one of them pay-per-view places. Just don’t go spendin’ all your hard-earned money on picture shows, ya hear? There’s more important things in life, like a good cup of coffee and a warm biscuit in the mornin’. That’s somethin’ you can always count on.

Anyway, that’s my two cents on this Zootopia movie. Hope it helped ya out, or at least gave ya somethin’ to think about while you’re waitin’ for the kettle to boil.
