Alright, so y’all wanna know about this Netflix and Kamala Harris thing, huh? Let me tell ya, it’s all a big ol’ mess of talk and who-knows-what. I heard folks sayin’ somethin’ about Netflix givin’ money to Kamala. Now, I ain’t no fancy city slicker, but I know money talks, right? So, if Netflix gave her money, that means somethin’, I reckon.
Who’s this Reed Hastings fella anyway? Well, they say he’s the big boss man at Netflix. Yeah, the one with all them movies and shows. He’s the “executive chairman” they call him. Sounds mighty important. He’s got money, that’s for sure. Folks with them fancy titles always do. And they say he coughed up some dough for Kamala’s campaign.

I ain’t got no Netflix myself. Too busy workin’ and lookin’ after the chickens to sit around watchin’ them shows. But my grandson, he’s always glued to it. He tells me about all the different shows, ’bout kings and queens, and spaceships, and all sorts of crazy stuff. Seems like Netflix has somethin’ for everyone. And that Reed Hastings fella, he’s the one makin’ it all happen. He’s got the money, so he’s got the power, I guess.
Now, some folks say it’s okay for him to give money to Kamala. They say it’s his right, his freedom, or some such. And others, they say it’s wrong. They say it ain’t fair. They say it gives Kamala an unfair advantage. Well, life ain’t fair, honey. Never has been, never will be. Them with the money always got the advantage.
What’s all this fuss about a presidential campaign anyway? Seems like a whole lotta trouble to me. All that talkin’ and promisin’ and arguin’. And in the end, who knows if they’ll even do what they say? Politicians, they’re all the same, if you ask me. Always lookin’ out for themselves and their rich buddies.
But I reckon this Netflix thing is a big deal. People are talkin’ about it, writin’ about it, and gettin’ all riled up. And that Reed Hastings fella, he’s right in the middle of it all. He’s got his name in the papers now. Maybe he likes the attention, maybe he don’t. But he’s got it now, that’s for sure. And Kamala, she’s got his money, or some of it anyway. And that might just help her get that big job she’s after.
So, did Netflix donate to Kamala? Sounds like it, from what I hear. Is it a big deal? Well, some folks think so. Me? I just hope whoever gets to be president remembers the little folks, the ones who ain’t got no fancy titles or big bank accounts. The ones who just tryin’ to make a livin’ and keep their chickens fed.
Anyways, that’s the gist of it as far as I can tell. A whole lotta fuss about money and politics, like always. Don’t you go frettin’ about it too much, though. Just keep on keepin’ on, that’s what I always say.
And remember this, whether it’s Kamala or someone else, they all need money. And money always comes with strings attached, whether you like it or not. That’s just the way of the world, ain’t it?
