  1. They made the movie look better then it really was not to mention most of the damn thing is dark and can’t really see what’s going on with the really good parts! I much prefer the books from my childhood lol turning books into movies is not always a good thing! These books let you’re imagination go crazy and when it comes to scary stories I thinks that’s a better thing especially for kids!

  2. People are saying how they should've made this into a TV series, but, personally I love it as a movie. It sets itself up for a sequel. If it was a TV series would the episodes be a bit too short?

  3. They should’ve used Donovan’s. I don’t get why movies always use covers instead of the original.

  4. Drawings from the book

    Harold/People in the back
    The Guests/The Bellows House
    The Black Dog/The staircase
    The Haunted House/Toeless corpse
    Harold/The doll
Who Do You Come For/The feet
    The Red Spot/Spiders

  5. Ok I saw it this will have no spoilers, I enjoyed it. However, I could have enjoyed it more. The chi is fantastic and the acting is great, but the writing could’ve been better. It’s a good movie with decent fire for pg 13 and overall I would suggest it. It has agreed ending btw and pays good image to the series we all enjoyed as kids.

  6. I saw the movie.Didnt like it.The haunted house is from the movie "It" ; ,then toe story looked stupid and senseless , then girl with spider was worse .The scarecrow seemed like taken from supernatural TV series and last scene seems to be taken from movie mummy. The stories doesn't have good ending ,more like a copy from goosebumps movie or similar to final destination theme where everyone is killed one by one.Nothing new to explore. The director should have taken some other story from some other book.

  7. That song kills the vibe of everything else in this trailer.
I would’ve picked Marilyn Manson or at least something spooky.
