Alright, so y’all wanna know about this Inside Out movie, huh? I watched it, that’s for sure. Folks were talkin’ about it, said it was somethin’ special, so I figured, why not?
First off, it’s about this little girl, Riley. And inside her head, there’s these little…well, I guess you could call ’em feelings. Like Joy, she’s all happy and bouncy, and then there’s Sadness, always mopin’ around. And Fear, Anger, and Disgust. They’re all up in there, controllin’ Riley’s emotions, makin’ her do what she does. It’s kinda like havin’ a whole bunch of folks livin’ in your head, pullin’ you in different directions.
Now, this here movie, it ain’t no regular cartoon. It gets ya thinkin’. See, Riley, she moves to a new city, and everything changes. She misses her old home, her old friends. And Sadness, well, she starts messin’ things up. Joy, she tries to keep everything happy, but sometimes, ya just can’t. Life throws ya curveballs, ya know?
- Sometimes you’re happy.
- Sometimes you’re sad.
- It’s all part of growin’ up.
That’s what this movie’s about, I reckon. It’s about learnin’ that it’s okay to be sad sometimes. That sadness, it’s just as important as happiness. You can’t have one without the other, like sunshine and rain. They go together. And it’s okay to feel all sorts of things, even if they ain’t pleasant.
Now, some folks were worried, sayin’ this movie might have some of that woke stuff in it. But I didn’t see none of that. It’s just a good, clean story about family and feelin’s. Safe for the young’uns, that’s for sure. My grandkids, they loved it. And me, well, I teared up a bit, I ain’t gonna lie. It reminded me of when we moved from the farm, leavin’ everything behind. It was tough, but we got through it, just like Riley.
The way them feelings work together, it’s kinda clever. They argue, they fight, but in the end, they gotta learn to cooperate. Just like a family. You don’t always agree, but you gotta stick together. That’s what matters. And the movie, it shows that real good.
This here Pixar, they know what they’re doin’. They make movies that make ya laugh, make ya cry, make ya think. And Inside Out, it’s one of their best, in my opinion. It’s got a good message, somethin’ that everyone can relate to. Whether you’re young or old, happy or sad, you’ll find somethin’ in this movie that speaks to ya.
It ain’t just for kids, mind you. Adults, they can learn a thing or two from it as well. Like how to deal with your emotions, how to support your loved ones, and how to find joy even in the tough times. It’s a movie about life, plain and simple.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good movie to watch with the family, somethin’ that’s both entertainin’ and meaningful, then I reckon Inside Out is a good choice. It’s a heartwarming story that’ll leave you feelin’ good, and maybe even a little wiser. And that’s somethin’ we could all use a little more of these days.
And like I said before, it ain’t got none of that woke stuff people are always worried about now days. Just a good story about feelin’s and family. Now that’s somethin’ I can get behind.
