Alright, so you wanna know about this “King of New York” movie poster, huh? Well, let me tell ya, I don’t know much about fancy movie stuff, but I can tell ya what I see.

First off, they got all sorts of sizes for this poster, you know? Some big ones, like 27 by 40 inches. That’s like, real big, almost as big as my kitchen table! Then they got smaller ones too, like 11 by 17 inches. Those are good if you ain’t got much wall space, I guess.

Now, from what I gather, this ain’t no original painting or nothin’. They call it a “reproduction print.” Sounds fancy, but it just means they printed a bunch of copies. But hey, they say it’s on “Premium Heavy Stock Paper,” so that’s gotta be good, right? Means it ain’t gonna tear easy, I reckon.

And the colors! They say it captures all the “vivid colors.” I ain’t seen it myself, but I bet it’s got some bright reds and blues, maybe some flashy yellows. You know, the kind of colors that catch your eye.

They sell these posters all over the place, it seems. You got your Amazons, your Walmarts, even that eBay thing my grandson talks about. Prices? Well, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Some folks selling ‘em cheap, some folks charging a pretty penny. Guess it depends on who’s selling and how bad you want it.

This movie, “King of New York,” it’s about some fella named Frank White. Sounds like a tough guy. They say he’s a drug lord, wanna control all the bad stuff in the city. He just got out of jail, Sing Sing they call it, and he’s back to his old tricks. Got a crew and everything, a fella named Jimmy Jump who’s quick with the gun, they say.

  • They’re fighting with Colombians and Triads, whoever they are. Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me.
  • They say this Frank White ain’t a real person, but the fella who made the movie, his daddy was kinda like that. Owned bars and such, ran with a tough crowd. Like those fellas in “GoodFellas,” you know that movie? Yeah, like that.

Now, about the poster itself. Some places say it’s “brand new,” “mint condition.” That means it ain’t all beat up and crinkled, I figure. Other places say it’s “out of stock.” Guess that means they sold out, too many folks wanting that picture of this Frank White fella, I suppose.

Some folks, they collect these posters. Spend a whole lotta money on ‘em, too. I heard tell of one poster, some old movie from way back when, sold for almost seven hundred thousand dollars! Can you believe that? More money than I’ll ever see in my life, that’s for sure.

And this John Alvin fella, seems like he was a big deal making posters. Folks loved him and his work, like this “E.T.” poster. Never seen it myself, but must be somethin’ special.

So, if you’re lookin’ to buy this “King of New York” poster, you gotta figure out what size you want, how much you wanna spend, and where you wanna buy it from. And if you’re just curious, well, now you know a little somethin’ about it. It’s a picture of a tough guy from a movie about crime and such, and folks seem to like it enough to buy it and hang it on their walls.

That’s all I know about it, so don’t ask me no more questions!
