Heartbreaking over and over again. STANDARD OPERATING PRACTICE with all the services should be that EACH AND EVERY soldier returning should be automatically assigned a downtime review at a VA hospital. It's the ignored or overlooked other part of LEAVE NO MAN BEHIND.

To me it's weird that people lose themselves after war. They had too much, felt too much, and thought they were unbreakable.
To me it's weird seeing somebody so tough acting so sad and depressed all the time. Especially when this is what you asked for.
One of the most compelling and important films that I have watched. Every man,woman, and child should watch this moving portrait of our veterans. The poetry is beautifully gut wrenching.
People make relationships so hard. Each person in that family wants to be together yet they aren't together. We give up on relationships when we shouldn't. The only thing that should be able to separate us is death – even then memories and deep love remain.

It is so tragic that how easy the rest of the free world forget the sacrifices that these veterans of all wars are suffering from the negligence of the government. They should be top priority in helping them get back on their feet. So many have been kicked to the curb and thrown away like garbage. This country needs to wake up and help these poor people who served willingly and gave themselves wholeheartedly. I am so ashamed of how the veterans are treated like garbage! Please,please help and have mercy.
This is or was a gutwrenching film and I wish the world can watch it. This country needs to appreciate all the men and women of the military who served in all of the wars for freedom and be free from oppression. It is not a perfect world,by any means ,but let's give the veterans the love and attention that they deserve.

A gut wrenching one that digs into one's heart and soul, when stopping for a second and understanding the plight of so many who put their lives on the line through horrible experiences, only to come home but never coming home.
