Alright, alright, let’s talk about this here movie, “dvd a serbian film”. Don’t rightly know what all the fuss is about, but I watched it, so I’ll tell ya what I think.
Now, this fella, Milos, they say he used to be in them… you know… adult movies. Yeah, them kinda movies. He’s got himself a wife and a little tyke, see? And like everyone else, he needs money. Times are tough, I tell ya, tough all over. So, this fancy director comes along, offers him a pile of cash to be in his “art film.” Art film, my foot! It ain’t nothin’ but trouble, that’s what it is.
This director, he’s a real piece of work. Creepy as all get-out, if you ask me. He’s got this whole plan, this whole… thing he wants to do with Milos. And Milos, well, he goes along with it, ’cause he needs the money. Can’t blame a fella for tryin’ to provide for his family, can ya?
- But Lord, have mercy, the things they show in this movie… It ain’t right, I tell ya.
- It’s violent, and it’s… well, it’s just plain nasty.
- Makes ya wanna wash your eyes out with soap, it does.
They say it’s supposed to be some kind of commentary on society, or somethin’. About how people are exploited, and how violence is everywhere. Maybe so, maybe so. But I ain’t no scholar, I just know what I see. And what I see is a whole lotta hurtin’ and a whole lotta messed up stuff.
There’s this one part, I don’t even wanna talk about it, but it involves a baby… Lord have mercy, it made my stomach turn. I had to look away, I did. And then there’s all the other stuff, the blood, the… you know… the things they do to each other. It’s enough to make a body sick.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I ain’t no prude. I’ve seen things in my day, I have. But this here movie… it’s somethin’ else entirely. It pushes the limits, way past what’s decent. It’s like they went out of their way to shock ya, just for the sake of shockin’ ya.

Some folks say it’s art. They say it’s brave, and that it’s got somethin’ important to say. Maybe they’re right. But I just think it’s ugly. Ugly and mean-spirited. It makes ya feel dirty just watchin’ it. And for what? What’s the point of all that misery?
I guess if you’re into that kinda thing, if you like bein’ disturbed and upset, then maybe you’ll like this movie. But me? I’d rather watch paint dry. At least paint don’t try to make ya puke. This here “Serbian film,” it ain’t for the faint of heart, that’s for sure. You gotta have a strong stomach and a… I don’t even know what… to sit through this whole thing.
And the ending? Don’t even get me started on the ending. It’s just… bam! Right in your face. No happy ever after here, folks. Just more ugliness and despair. It leaves you feelin’ empty and kinda… disgusted. Like you just witnessed somethin’ you shouldn’t have.
So, there ya have it. My two cents on this here “dvd a serbian film.” Take it or leave it. But be warned, if you decide to watch it, you’re in for a rough ride. It ain’t gonna be pretty, and it ain’t gonna be pleasant. You might even regret it. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya. This ain’t your grandma’s feel-good movie, that’s for sure.
