7. Asteroid impact?? Or possibly, the government wants everyone off their land, so they made up that story, to chase landowners away!! All they would have to do, is set off the largest, non-nuclear weapon (maybe, the largest, Big Blue) from that strange tower, at the time of the supposed, asteroid impact. Seal off the town, claim it's too dangerous to return and claim, eminent domain. Now, along with a mining company, strip mine, those minerals out!!! Not too unbelievable, huh🤔??? Would that not, surprise you??

8. $33,000 to run a telephone line, two miles into the woods?? $500. a month for high-speed internet?? Who they dealing with, Verizon and Comcast (the most 2 hated corporations, in the US)😆??? Sadly, they're not that far, off base. Especially, in the future. I feel a touch of comedy here, where it shouldn't be. It's lame to mix sci-fi/adventure, with unwanted comedy. Example; 1997's, 'ARMAGEDDON', 1998's, 'DEEP IMPACT'.

20. Oneanta, NY? I used to live there, and the only reason I am not there now is government corruption and excess taxes. I retired from the Navy and Immediately moved to Central Alabama back in 1998. Things are rather dull down here, but when you retire, dullness is appreciated. I live in a rural area, compared to upstate NY where people live on top of each other like they do in NY. Gun laws suck in NY, along with the political corruption.

26. It was America's real intention to put man on the moon and that is why they hired 400,000 but it proved harder and nearly impossible to accomplish. With time running out and all the hopes they had raised to people and the desperateness to win the space race, they had to fake it. What else could they have lost? They had already lost a lot already. Besides, It wasn't everyone employed by NASA at the time that needed to be let in in the secret, even many of those who were working with NASA at that time dint realise that the rocket they had launched and thought they watched went to the moon did not actually go to the moon. They had no secrete to keep because there was no secrete as far as they were voncerned, they,like most of us were equally deceived. only those in front of the mission and control desks knew the secret. I would rather doubt the moon landing even if it happened than be stupid to believe it when it never happened.

27. I couldn't watch past the 18:30 mark. Never mind the asteroid, the beginning of this no-budget movie is all about people making cellphone calls and watching a news video on an iPhone in between complaining about how they have no cell or Internet service. If this is a spoof, it's of basic competence in storytelling.

44. I was expecting to see the impact of the asteroid. But it just show the town preparing for the disaster.
