Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about this movie, “Wrath of Man”. Where they filmed it, you know? Folks are always curious ’bout that kinda stuff.
Now, I ain’t been to these fancy places myself, but from what I hear, they did a whole lot of filmin’ over in England. Yeah, England! Across the big ol’ ocean. They got some kinda base in that movie, called Fortico somethin’ or other? Well, that was all done in England, they say. Fancy that!
But that ain’t the whole story, no sirree. They also went over to Los Angeles. You know, that big city in California with all them movie stars? Yep, they filmed some parts there too. Probably where all them fancy cars and explosions happened. Always gotta have explosions, don’t they?
This fella Jason Statham, he’s the main guy in the movie. Tough-lookin’ fella, always punchin’ and shootin’. They started filmin’ this thing way back in November of 2019. Took ’em a while, I reckon, ’cause they say they finished up sometime in early 2020. Filmin’ a movie takes a long time, I guess. More time than it takes to milk a cow, that’s for sure.
Now, they got this other director fella, Guy Ritchie. He’s the one tellin’ everyone what to do. He’s the boss man, you know? He decided where they’d film and what they’d do. Sounds like a lot of work to me. I’d rather just sit on the porch and watch the chickens.
- England – Most of the inside stuff, that Fortico place.
- Los Angeles, California – Lots of outside stuff, cars, and probably them shootin’ scenes.
So, if you’re watchin’ the movie and you see them fancy buildin’s, that’s probably England. And if you see them palm trees and sunny skies, that’s probably Los Angeles. It’s all pretend, you know. They make it look real, but it ain’t. Just like them store-bought pies – look pretty, but don’t taste like the real thing.
They got other actors in the movie too, not just that Statham fella. Names I can’t hardly pronounce. But they all runnin’ around, pretendin’ to be tough guys. And that Guy Ritchie fella, he’s tellin’ ’em where to stand and what to say. It’s a whole big production, they say.
Now, some folks online were talkin’ ’bout Tucson, Arizona. But from what I gather, that ain’t right. That’s for some other movie, not this “Wrath of Man” one. This one’s mostly about England and Los Angeles. So don’t go lookin’ for Jason Statham in Arizona, ’cause he ain’t there. Not for this movie, anyways.
Filming started in late 2019 and wrapped up in early 2020, that’s what they say. Took ‘em a few months, which ain’t surprising considerin’ all the stuff they had to do. Blowin’ things up, drivin’ fast cars, punchin’ each other – it all takes time, I reckon.
And let me tell you, this movie ain’t for the faint of heart. It’s got a lot of violence, they say. Action and Thriller they call it. So if you don’t like that kinda stuff, best stay away. Stick to them Hallmark movies, the ones with all the kissin’ and cryin’. But if you like a good punch-up and some shootin’, then this “Wrath of Man” might be right up your alley.
So there you have it. That’s the lowdown on where they filmed this “Wrath of Man” movie. England and Los Angeles, mostly. Don’t let nobody tell you different. And if you see that Jason Statham fella around, tell him I said hello. Just kidding, I wouldn’t know him from a hole in the ground. But it sounds like he made a pretty good movie, so maybe I’ll watch it sometime, if I can find it on that Netflix thingamajig my grandkids set up for me.
