Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout these Redbox movies, the new ones from 2023. Don’t know much ’bout this fancy stuff, but I seen some things and heard some things, ya know?
So, they sayin’ 2023 was a big year for movies, lots of “sequels” they call ’em. Means they made another one, I guess. Like they didn’t have enough stories the first time around! Anyways, there’s this thing called Redbox. You go to them red boxes, like big ol’ mailboxes, and you can rent movies. Cheap, they say. Good for folks like us, don’t wanna spend a fortune on them picture shows.
Now, they tell me some movies came out in March, like one called “The Longshots.” Supposed to be a true story ’bout a little girl, eleven years old, playin’ some kinda game. Probably one of them sports things. Kids these days, always runnin’ around. But hey, if it’s on Redbox, maybe it’s worth a watch. Probably somethin’ the grandkids would like.
Then there’s all these other movies, comin’ out all year long. September, October, all them months. Them “IMDb Editors” – whoever they are – they got all excited ’bout some movies. I don’t know nothin’ ’bout no editors, but if they say it’s good, maybe it is. They got their lists, you know, “best movies” and all that. One movie made a whole lotta money, like, nine hundred somethin’ million dollars! Can you believe that? That’s more money than I ever seen in my whole life!
- March Movies: Heard tell of “The Longshots” and some others, can’t remember the names though. Too many of ’em.
- Sequels: Lots of movies this year were sequels, like they runnin’ outta ideas or somethin’.
- Big Money Movies: Some movies made a whole heap of money, more than you can shake a stick at.
- September and October: Them editor folks got all worked up ’bout movies in these months. Musta been somethin’ special.
- Redbox Free Stuff: Now, I heard tell that Redbox started givin’ away some free stuff. Free is good, that’s what I always say. Gotta keep an eye out for them freebies.
People are talkin’ ’bout these movies all the time. At the store, at the church, everywhere you go. “Did you see this one?” they ask. “Did you see that one?” I just nod and smile, pretend I know what they talkin’ ’bout. But now, with this Redbox thing, maybe I can catch up. Rent a few of them movies, see what all the fuss is about.
They say Redbox got all kinds of movies. Action, comedy, them lovey-dovey ones. Something for everyone, I guess. Me, I like a good story. Somethin’ with heart, ya know? Not too much shootin’ and hollerin’. And definitely no scary monsters! I’m too old for that nonsense.
So, this Redbox thing, seems like a good deal. Cheap movies, easy to get. Just gotta find one of them red boxes and see what they got. Maybe I’ll even find that movie ’bout the little girl playin’ sports. Or maybe one of them big money movies. Who knows? It’s an adventure, I tell ya, an adventure!
And now, they sayin’ Redbox is givin’ away free stuff. Don’t know what it is yet, but free is always good. Gotta keep an eye on them Redbox machines, see what they got. Might be somethin’ good, might be nothin’. But hey, it’s worth a look, right? Especially if it don’t cost nothin’. That’s the best kind of deal, the kind that don’t empty your pocketbook.
In short, 2023 had a bunch of new movies, some sequels, some big money makers. Redbox is the place to get ’em cheap, and maybe even free sometimes. Gotta check it out, see what all the hubbub is about.
