WAIT A MINUTE!!! Why is "dubbing into English" being used for American actors!!? Are you kidding me!!? Michael Madsen & Eric Robert, both with distinct manly voices sound like sissy basement boys in this movie! This is disgusting. I can't watch this. Sorry, Movie Central.
Real life isn't a cheap movie, the introducer of the movie says, sporting a clearly Russian accent.
But this is a cheap movie, complete with an entire production staff with Russian names. In the first scene in Moscow the actors' voices are unquestionably dubbed, presumably from Russian to English.
By the way, this movie stars a fellow named "Alexander Nevsky" — the same name as the hero who defeated the Teutonic Knights in the Battle on the Ice in 1242. His youngest son was the first Grand Duke of Moscow, a small town at the time, but one with a glorious future.
