This is a good film, except for the non sense plot hole in the end. Totally would make sense if she just made her boyfriend the new pet and not her former kidnapper since there is no way that she can transfer his body to a storage facility with all those detectives roaming the place.

Of course the girl is going to be crazier than the guy. She has a "boyfriend" that treats her like dirt, yet she still stays with him. That's a red flag right of the start. Second, she is a waitress at so low level diner. That would mean she doesn't have enough class/ confidence to get a job at a middle-class establishment.
