Alright, alright, settle down, y’all. Let’s talk about this Godzilla x Kong movie, the new one, you know, The New Empire. Folks keep askin’ me how to watch it, so I figured I’d spell it out, simple as pie.

First off, you gotta understand, there’s a bunch of ways to see this thing, more ways than a dog has fleas, I tell ya. Some are easy, some are a bit trickier, like tryin’ to catch a greased pig.

Watchin’ it on them “streamin'” thingamajigs

Now, the easiest way, most folks do it this way, is watchin’ it on them “streamin'” thingamajigs. You got your Max, that’s one of ’em. They say it’s gonna be on there July 4th, 2024, so mark your calendars, if you still use them things. I still do, makes more sense than those new fangled phones.

  • Max is the big one, like I said. But some places, they call it somethin’ else, like HBO Go or Crave. Same thing, just different names, like callin’ a soda “pop” or “coke”, you get what I mean.
  • Then you got your Amazon Channel, they got Max too, so you can watch it there. Easy peasy.

Rent or Buy, That’s the Question

If you don’t wanna wait till July, or maybe you don’t have that Max thingy, well, you can always rent it or buy it. Just like them old VHS tapes, remember those? Only now it’s all digital and whatnot.

  • You got your Apple TV. I ain’t got one of them fancy apple things myself, but my grandkids do. They say it works good.
  • Then there’s Google Play Movies. That Google knows everything, don’t they? They probably even know what I had for breakfast. It was eggs and bacon, in case you’re wonderin’.
  • And Fandango At Home. Sounds fancy, but it’s just another place to watch movies. They all do the same thing, far as I can tell.

Other Ways to Watch, if You’re Feelin’ Adventurous

Now, there’s a whole bunch of other places you can watch it too. It’s like lookin’ for mushrooms in the woods, they’re everywhere if you know where to look.

Some folks say you can watch it on DIRECTV or Sling TV. Them’s like cable, but they come through the internet, I think. My neighbor has it, he watches the sports all day long. Loud as a rooster at sunrise, he is.

Then there’s somethin’ called The Roku Channel, and ROW8. And Prime Video, that’s from Amazon too, them folks are everywhere! And even Plex, they say it’s free movies and TV. And then there’s somethin’ called Catchplay, never heard of it myself, but it’s out there.

Basically, you got a lot of choices, more choices than a hen has feathers. Just pick one that works for ya. If you don’t know, ask your grandkids, they know all this stuff.

What’s the Movie About, Anyway?

Now, I ain’t seen the whole thing yet, but from what I hear, it’s about Kong goin’ off on an adventure, findin’ a whole new world, a “new empire” they call it. And Godzilla’s in it too, of course. Them two are always fightin’ or teamin’ up, like a couple of old grumpy cats.

They say it’s a big movie, lots of action, lots of monsters. Just the kind of thing you watch on a Saturday night with a big bowl of popcorn. Or maybe some fried chicken, if you’re feelin’ hungry.

So there you have it, folks. That’s how you watch Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Now go on, git, and enjoy the show! And don’t forget to turn down the volume, unless you want the whole neighborhood to hear them monsters roarin’.
