This was a bit of a ripoff of Frank Herbert's "Dune" saga- even the riding on the backs of the worms. I doubt that these were the "spice" variety. Apart from that, I liked the movie. In spite of low-budget acting, FX, and a few other things, it was suspenseful and entertaining. I see that everybody recognized the desert scenery from the old "Star Trek" series. That's a very iconic spot.

Oh no, how sad. Another film with self absorbed Millennials. They need to watch movies from the 30-50 to see real acting. Not all citing is over exaggerated facial expressions. Also amazing how females out number men in the working areas in this future. Another alternative universe where sassy attitude and total disregard for all rules always win in the end.
