Well, hey there! Let’s yak about them movie theaters in Moscow, Idaho. You know, the places where you go watch them pictures move on a big ol’ screen. I ain’t been to all of ’em, mind you, but I heard some things.
First off, there’s this place, the Kenworthy Theatre. Folks say it’s been around a long, long time, since like, 1926 or somethin’. That’s older than my prize-winning rooster! They got all sorts of shows there, not just movies. Sounds like a good place to take the whole family, y’know, for a birthday or somethin’. Kids love them movies, that’s for sure.
Then you got the Village Centre Cinemas. That’s where you go to see the new stuff, the Hollywood pictures everyone’s gabbin’ about. Easy to find, too. It’s on Blaine Street, number 1420, or so they say. You can even call ‘em up on the phone, if you got one of them fancy new phones. The number’s somethin’ like 208-882-6873. They got lots of movies, so you’re bound to find somethin’ you like.
Now, I ain’t one for them fancy city things, but I do like a good story. And sometimes, them movies tell a real good story. Makes you laugh, makes you cry, sometimes even makes you think. And Moscow, Idaho, well, it’s got a few places where you can go and get lost in a good story for a couple of hours. It’s a nice little town, nestled in them hills near the Washington line, I hear. They grow good taters there too.
- Where to sit? Well, some folks say the best spot is right smack in the middle, not too close, not too far. Kinda like Goldilocks and the three bears, gotta find what’s just right. Me? I like to sit near the back, where I can see everything without havin’ to crane my neck. And if the sound’s good, well, that’s just a bonus.
- When to go? If you don’t like crowds, try goin’ durin’ the day, like between noon and five o’clock on a weekday. Less folks around, and you can usually get a good seat without havin’ to fight for it. And the lines for snacks ain’t so long neither. Nothin’ worse than missin’ the start of the picture waitin’ for popcorn.
- Which row is best? Some folks swear by the second or third row from the back, say the sound is better there. Me? I just try to find a spot where I can see and hear good, and where I ain’t gonna get kicked in the back by some restless young’un.
So, if you find yourself in Moscow, Idaho, and you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to do, why not go see a movie? It’s a good way to pass the time, and you might even learn a thing or two. And don’t forget your snacks! A movie ain’t a movie without a big ol’ bucket of popcorn and somethin’ to wash it down with.
Now, I heard tell that there are other movie places around, not just these two. You can find ‘em online, they say. Use one of them searchy things like Fandango, and it’ll tell you where to go and what movies are playin’. Ain’t that somethin’? Technology these days, it’s a wonder. Makes it easy to find anything, even a good movie in a small town like Moscow.

So there you have it, a little bit about them movie theaters in Moscow. Nothin’ fancy, just plain talk from a plain ol’ person. Hope it helps ya find a good picture to watch.
Moscow’s a historic town, lots of old buildings and such. The Kenworthy, now that’s one of ’em. Makes you feel like you stepped back in time, sittin’ in that old theater. And them other places, they got their own charm too. It’s all about findin’ what you like, I reckon.
