Oh, honey, you wanna hear about this horror movie makeup palette? Lord have mercy, these young folks and their face paints these days. Back in my day, we didn’t have none of that fancy stuff. But let me tell you, I seen some things, and this palette, it got all the colors of a good scare.
First off, you got your reds. Now, this ain’t no red for your lips, no sir. This is the red of a good old-fashioned bloody nose, or maybe somethin’ a bit more… gruesome, if you catch my drift. You can use it to make yourself look like you just had a run-in with the business end of a hoe, or maybe you been tusslin’ with some critter in the woods. That’s the horror of it, all right.
Spooky Colors
Then there’s the blacks. Oh, these blacks ain’t for no smoky eye, unless you’re going for that “risen from the grave” kinda smoky. This is the black of a moonless night, the black of a deep, dark hole you just know somethin’ nasty’s crawlin’ out of. You put this around your eyes, you’ll look like you haven’t slept in a week, and maybe you saw somethin’ you shouldn’t have in the dark, somethin’ you can’t ever forget.
- Bloody red, good for lookin’ like you been in a fight.
- Deep black, like a dark hole with somethin’ scary inside.
- Sickly green, for lookin’ like somethin’ ain’t right with you.
- Bruised purple, like you got hit real good.
And the greens! This ain’t no pretty green like the grass in spring. This is a sickly, nasty green, like somethin’ that’s been left out in the sun too long, or maybe somethin’ that’s crawlin’ around in the swamp. You use this, and folks’ll think you’re about to upchuck your dinner, or maybe turn into one of them creatures from the movies.
Cheap and Easy Horror
Now, I know what you’re thinkin’. “This all sounds mighty complicated,” you’re sayin’. “I ain’t no fancy makeup artist.” Well, let me tell you, you don’t need to be! This horror movie makeup palette, it’s easy as pie. You just slap it on, smudge it around, and you’re good to go. It’s like makin’ mud pies, but for your face, you see.
And it’s cheap, too! Which is good, ’cause who wants to spend a fortune to look like they been dragged through the mud? Not me, that’s for sure. You can get this palette for the price of a good chicken dinner, and it’ll last you through many a scare.
There’s also them purples, like a nasty old bruise you get when you whack your shin on the coffee table in the dark. You can use that to make it look like you been punched, or maybe somethin’ worse. The possibilities are endless, and they ain’t pretty. These horror movie makeup palette, they really thought of everything.
You can even mix the colors together, like you’re paintin’ a picture, but instead of a pretty landscape, you’re paintin’ a nightmare on your face. You can mix the red and the black to make a deep, bloody wound, or the green and the purple to make a bruise that looks like it’s about to burst. Or mix purple and black, make your eyes look like been hit by somethin’.
Lots of Looks You Can Do
One time, I saw a girl use this palette, and she made herself look like one of them “Walking Dead” folks. All pale and gray, with dark circles under her eyes and fake blood all over. Scared the bejeezus out of ol’ man Johnson, she did! He thought she was a real zombie comin’ to eat his brains.
Another time, I saw a boy use it to make himself look like he’d been scratched by a wild animal. He put those red streaks all over his face and arms, and he looked like he’d just crawled out of a briar patch after fightin’ off a bobcat. Gave me the shivers, I tell ya.
- You can look like them “Walking Dead” people, all pale and scary.
- You can make it look like you been scratched by a wild animal.
- Or you can just make yourself look sick and spooky, it’s up to you!
This palette, it’s got all sorts of colors for all sorts of scares. You can be a ghost, a zombie, a monster, or somethin’ else entirely. Whatever your heart desires, as long as it’s somethin’ that’ll make folks jump out of their skin. Remember this horror movie makeup palette, you will be the most scary one!
