6. Wow! I never knew that if you're facing a pair of opponents, and one of them got turned around so now his back is to you, and he's facing his partner, you can take them out so quickly, easily, and simultaneously.

   All you have to do is to thrust your sword PAST them, at about hip height, on the same side of them as your camera (I believe this was actually a mistake, resulting more from the random biological attribute of handedness than from any particular orthodoxy in the martial choreography), and then give a little flip of the wrist, such that your sword gives a little smack to their hips.

   That's all it takes! They will both go down in a pool of blood, apparently dead, or at least dying. 55:45

   Funny – I almost thought it looked like she'd stabbed straight through the one and into the other. ALMOST. But even at full speed, I saw what I just described. Running it at half speed confirmed it.

28. Great Sunday afternoon movie , I watched it on My phone.

29. I really don't enjoy being critical. I'm always excited to see films in this genre as I write in it. I also know how filthy and ugly the whole budget issue is, so I want to give a pass as much as I can. Some special effects were not too bad at all, like when the portal opened. It had a believable look and feel to it. Kudos on some of that for sure. Storyline was not too shabby and definitely had my interest. Costumes were solid too and that was important in this genre. Locations were good and even the intermix of animation worked well as part of the narration. I actually liked how that worked a lot. Cinematography was solid… no complaints from a filmmaker who gets that on a budget. The script was adequate, but might have appeared weaker because of the delivery of some of the cast. It seemed dry and choppy to me and lacking the natural feel that the interplay between characters should have. Honestly, it felt more often like the awkward interplay between kids gaming an adventure around a table in their mother's basement than a view into the world of real characters and their lives. Following that, the acting was not real good, which means the casting was not real good. Maybe some friends who love the genre got together and made this; no idea. When an actor is good, they make the viewer come inside their world with them as if they were ghosting the life of a real person in another time and place. The film lacks that considerably. I am currently an actor as well, specializing in monsters, so believe me when I say I know something about that. I can terrify even people who know me and even when I take the mask off. That is what good acting is. When the prince is surrounded by the three female warriors, the dialog seems short and forced; the women give the feel like they were recruited from a local LARPing group. The fight choreography, and I am sorry, but it was god-aweful. I know, I know… budgets. I get it. It was cringeworthy. Battles are, like them or not, bloody and aweful and the conflicts just do not give any real sense of threat, danger, risk… and it matters because that is a big part of the storyline. The struggle doesn't come through without it. Better casting (or a good and often expensive acting coach/choreographer) could have helped the dialog a lot and some tweaks to the scipt would have been monumental too, I think. Ultimately, every story is a human story; who we are to ourselves and others, how we affect one another for better or worse through our deeds and interactions, and the consequences of our choices in whatever life and world in which we live. Anyway, the spirit was certainly there in this film.     What happened to the good Ole days when movies were made by actors in glorious costumes on sound stages or in magnificent scenery?
    Not this garbage where there are no actors and its a computer generated fake?

36. It had all the features of a great movie, except the soundtrack. They used the same music at the same volume for almost every scene. What would have made it better is to create different moods and add them tastefully. Enjoyed the location, special effects, costumes, and movie props though. If redone with a good soundtrack this would be a great movie.
