Alright, alright, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Apple Carplay Netflix thingy. You know, that fancy stuff they put in cars nowadays. My grandkids are always fussin’ with their phones, hookin’ ’em up to the car screen. Seems like they can do just about anythin’ on them things. They keep talkin’ about watchin’ them shows, Net… Net… whatever they call it, on the car thing.
So, I heard you gotta have that Apple phone thingy, the one with the fruit on it. They say you need to make sure it’s all up to date, you know, with the latest stuff. Like how you gotta keep your house clean, gotta keep that phone clean and updated too. Otherwise, things don’t work right, they tell me.
- First thing, make sure your phone’s all up to date, like I said.
- Then, plug it into your car, find that special spot where it connects. My grandson, he’s good at findin’ it.
Now, they say you can’t just watch Netflix straight up on that car screen. Something about safety, they say. Can’t be watchin’ shows while you’re drivin’, I guess. Makes sense, you gotta keep your eyes on the road, not on the telly. But them kids, they always find a way, don’t they?
They talk about “mirrorin'” and “jailbreakin'” and all sorts of things I don’t rightly understand. Sounds like a lot of trouble to me. My old radio worked just fine. But they say this mirrorin’ thing, it’s like lookin’ in a mirror, but with your phone on the car screen. Makes your phone show up on the big screen, they say. Then you can watch whatever’s on your phone. But it don’t always work right, they tell me.
And that jailbreakin’ thing? Sounds like breakin’ outta jail, doesn’t it? But they say it’s something you do to the phone. Messes with it, changes it. I don’t know, sounds risky. Like playin’ with fire. You might break somethin’.
Some folks say, “Don’t do it! It’s not safe!” And I reckon they’re right. Drivin’ ain’t the time for watchin’ movies. You gotta pay attention, look out for them other cars, them kids runnin’ around.
Now, I heard they’re stoppin’ Netflix on some of them Apple TV boxes. Don’t know why. Maybe they don’t want folks sittin’ around watchin’ TV all day. Get outside, they say, get some fresh air. Maybe that’s why they don’t want it in cars either. Who knows?
So, if you wanna watch Netflix in your car, you gotta do some fancy stuff. Make sure your phone’s updated, try that mirrorin’ thing, or maybe that jailbreak thing, if you’re feelin’ brave. But remember, safety first. Don’t be watchin’ movies when you should be lookin’ at the road. You don’t wanna end up in a ditch, now do ya?
Anyways, that’s what I heard about this Apple Carplay Netflix thing. Seems like a lot of fuss to me. But them young folks, they love their gadgets, don’t they? Always findin’ new ways to do things. Me? I’m just happy if the radio works and the car starts. That’s all I need.
